Bob Odenkirk Is on Twitter Now! @mrbobodenkirk

"Is Charlie Sheen gone? Good. Let's begin." With that Bob Odenkirk joined Twitter, which is great. You can and should find him @MrBobOdenkirk.

Kelly Oxford Sells Script; Is Very Successful Outside of Twitter

In honor of Twittererer/writer Kelly Oxford selling a film script to Warner Bros, I'm going to try to write this entire post in 140 charact DAMN! Well, that was impossible. The film is called Son of a Bitch and as she puts it, is about a “young stoner who tries to maintain her popular party image even after discovering she’s pregnant.” I hope that means she does all these drugs and the film ends with her popping out some mutant baby that has super strength and laser eyes but is like a good guy, you know, and he saves the hospital from being blown up by The Joker, [...]

Twitter Can't Be Bad for Comedy…Right?

Twitter: rejuvenating the field of comedy, leveling the playing field for all, sharpening comedians' writing skills. OR IS IT? This debate between comics Christian Finnegan and Megan Amram has convinced (as of this writing) 18% of voters that the site is not a boon but a boil on the backside of comedy. More specifically, Finnegan argues that Twitter fosters a narrow definition of comedy and hurts writers whose talents don't skew towards short, punchy jokes. Go read both sides of the debate and then report back: has Finnegan changed your mind a little bit, too?

Kelly Oxford Wants You to Know She's Done More than Write a Few Tweets

Kelly Oxford has taken issue with how some have decided to portray her. Particularly The Chicago Tribune, who recently headlined an article about her, "Writer takes short route to Hollywood success." She writes on her blog:

The message I am getting from this is that living my whole live as a writer, writing for years and years meant nothing. Growing up as the annoying kid on the street who wrote plays and tried to force peers to perform them, going to screenwriting seminars, blogging daily (exercise) for 12 years, staying up for days and days to finish scripts was a waste of my goddamn time. The message I’m getting [...]

Rob Delaney Talks About Being Rob Delaney and Says "Cop" 80 Times

This is your chance to watch Rob "Some Have Termed, King of Twitter" Delaney take one of his 140-character comedy bombs and explain exactly what he was thinking to such detail that the Tweet is hardly funny anymore. He also takes a giant bite out of a sandwich and admits to not killing people. His advice for new Tweeters is to use the words "cop" and "asshole" until you're blue in face or asshole, you cop.

Jenny Johnson Teaches You How To Tweet

If they ever make a Kings/Queens of Twitter Comedy, Jenny Johnson would be D.L. Hughley. This makes her perfectly qualified to give out advice on how to become a Twitter Master (a Twaster if you will) like: "Who gives a shit what your parents named you? Nobody, that's who. Come up with something sexy and unique like @DickStuffins or @CumBasket. That way people will know you're DTF 24/7." Check out useful tips here.

The Search Is On For DadBoner

Who is DadBoner? Who indeed! Before we think too hard about it, though, let's take some advice from the great man himself via a recent tweet: "People who need to nose around in your garbage, probably don't have any bold flavors goin' on in their own fridge, you guys."
