Tina Fey and Amy Poehler to Co-Host the Golden Globes (and Hopefully All Awards Shows Ever)

Every year, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler make for some of the funniest moments at the Emmys and the Golden Globes, and now, the Golden Globes are finally letting them host. Fey and Poehler first met in improv classes in Chicago in the early 90s and played on an iO Mainstage team called Inside Vladimir (which was named after a gay porn video) together. "Terrorist Comedy" Four Lions Coming to the US

Via Mr. Alex Balk comes news that Four Lions, Chris Morris' "terrorist comedy" just snagged US distribution through Drafthouse Films, the new label from Tim League, founder and CEO of Austin's famed Alamo Drafthouse. This is very exciting, because man oh man does this movie look great.

South Park Returns October 5, Stays Through 2013

Hey, buck up buckaroo. No one's going anywhere, alright? Comedy Central has not only confirmed that South Park's return date is October 5 for the second half of this season, but that Trey Park and Matt Stone are signed on until 2013, despite what that poop-mouth duck might have suggested during South Park's mid-season finale. So stop crying, or your cubical mate is going to make a complaint to HR again, okay? Okay.

Bridesmaids' Co-Writer Annie Mumolo Lands Sweet TV Deal

In the comedy equivalent of an endzone dance, Bridesmaids co-writer Annie Mumolo signed a blind script deal with ABC late Tuesday night. Mumolo's project will be developed for the network by Tagline, the studio behind Psych and ABC's upcoming Man Up. As part of the deal, ABC will also drive Mumolo slowly past the houses of her detractors as she flips them all the bird.
