Parks and Rec's Adam Scott and Joe Mande are teaming up for a brand new NBC comedy. Deadline reports that the pair are developing a show for the network called Buds, which follows a marijuana dispensary in Denver, Colorado. Mande will write and serve as an executive producer alongside Scott via his production company Gettin' Rad.
On last night's Pete Holmes Show, Adam Scott made Pete Holmes look like a fool for not knowing who Stephen Dorff is or knowing what the movie Blade is, other than "black vampire." In return, Holmes does little to help Scott after his Jim Jarmusch joke bombs with the audience.
NBC just released this extended version of a scene from the most recent episode of Parks and Rec, in which Leslie gives Ben a replica of the Iron Throne from Game of Thrones. It's pretty much just three minutes of Amy Poehler and Adam Scott dicking around and improvising with the Throne, and it's a fun watch.
Last night, Adult Swim aired the fourth and final installment of Adam Scott's The Greatest Event in Television History, and this time the shot-for-shot opening sequence remake was based off the 80s sitcom Bosom Buddies. Among the guest stars to appear this time are Paul Rudd, Gillian Jacobs, Aidy Bryant, Mo Collins, June Diane Raphael, Billy Joel, and original Bosom Buddies star Tom Hanks. According to a rep at Adult Swim, while this was announced as the last Greatest Event, "You never know! The third installment of Adam Scott's The Greatest Event in Television History will debut on Nov. 7 on Adult Swim, and while the title of the new episode hasn't officially been released, Entertainment Weekly has some intriguing tidbits. We now know Catherine O’Hara and Jon Glaser will join Scott in his latest shot-by-shot remake of a classic TV show's opening sequence. Chelsea Peretti and Kathryn Hahn were previously announced. Adult Swim also released this family portrait from the show, which gives some clues for classic TV fans, and seems to confirm Vulture's guess from this summer.
