'This Is the End', 'Parks and Rec', and 'Key & Peele' Nominated for the 2014 American Comedy Awards

Nominations came out today for the American Comedy Awards, and This Is the End, Parks and Recreation, Key & Peele, and more all scored nominations. The American Comedy Awards ran from 1987 to 2001 before being discontinued, but NBC announced in October that the awards are being resurrected after 13 years away and that they'll be broadcasting them. Voting is open to the public, and you can cast your vote on the show's 19 categories, including categories for standups and web videos, by visiting the awards' official website or their Facebook page.

NBC Will Broadcast the American Comedy Awards in May

NBC has acquired the American Comedy Awards, which originally aired on ABC from 1987 to 2000. The Hollywood Reporter says the network will air the special in May 2014 and will "honoring those who have achieved new heights in film and television. The ceremony will also pay tribute to some of comedy's most enduring personalities and acknowledge the work of stand-up performers."
