Comedy trio The Lonely Island is going to be making stuff for Fox. The group, consisting of Akiva Schaffer, Jorma Taccone, and recent Golden Globe winner Andy Samberg, signed a development deal to create online content for Fox that will potentially be developed into shows for Fox and its subsidiary networks FX and FXX, Variety reports. The deal does not involve The Lonely Island creating musical content, with it focused instead on non-musical comedy that will likely debut on digital platforms like Hulu and Roku. Andy Samberg was a guest on The Tonight Show last night, and while discussing the fact that his show Brooklyn Nine-Nine is airing after the Super Bowl, he decided to try out one of those ads where the person from another show walks across the bottom of the screen. It was pretty funny, even if the camera person totally messed it up by zooming out waaayyy too far.
