Watch a New Trailer for Fox's 'Axe Cop' Featuring Nick Offerman

Here's a brand new trailer for the upcoming Fox animated series Axe Cop that the network debuted at comic book gathering WonderCon this weekend. The show, based on a comic created by a five-year-old and drawn by his much older brother, will be a 15-minute series that premieres on Fox's Animation Domination, a new late night animated Saturday night block that begins July 27th. Parks and Recreation's Nick Offerman as the voice of the title character "Axe Cop," which is the most badass part of an already badass trailer.

Former Adult Swim VP of Program Development Nick Weidenfeld is working on a new late-night animation block for Fox's Saturday nights, and the whole thing is starting to take shape as the development process progresses. Here are the basics: it's going to be on Saturday nights from 11pm-12:30am, and it'll feature four 15-minute shows as well as "about 50 short-form shows of 1-3 minute each."

Here's some new test footage from the upcoming Fox series Axe Cop, which is based on the web comic of the same name created by a 5-year-old and debuts this July. It features Parks and Recreation's Nick Offerman voicing the titular Axe Cop, which is perhaps the toughest name for a character possible but still not tough enough for a guy like Nick Offerman.

Fox's new Adult Swim-esque late night Saturday animation block ADHD, is set to premiere in January, and here's some test footage from one of their new shows, Axe Cop. Axe Cop is a 15-minute series, based on the comic of the same name, which was written by a five-year-old and drawn by his 29-year-old brother. Nick "Ron Swanson" Offerman provides the voice for Axe Cop in this clip, but it's not known right now whether he'll be doing so for the series also.
