Here Are Photos of the 'Mary Tyler Moore' Cast Reunited

TV Land announced last month that they're reuniting the entire female cast of Mary Tyler Moore for an upcoming episode of Hot in Cleveland, and the gang got back together yesterday for a press conference about the big TV event. MTM stars Betty White and Georgia Engel are already regulars on Cleveland, and Valerie Harper, Cloris Leachman, and Mary Tyler Moore will be guest starring on the episode as members of White and Engel's old bowling league. This is the first time the five cast members have acted together since Mary Tyler Moore ended its run in 1977, which was a very long time ago.

Wanna See Obama's Birthday Joke to Betty White?

Tough to say who comes off as cooler in this clip: Betty White, for getting a birthday card from the President and knowing she deserves it ("First things first"), or Obama, for being the President and also nailing this joke. Probably not Conan, but whatever, he gets to be the coolest nearly every other night of the week. Let someone else have a turn, Coco.

Betty White Crushes A Man's Dreams

Sadly, Betty White's Marine suitor Ray Lewis will not get to slow dance with the Nana of his dreams, as White had to turn down his invite to this fall's Marine Ball. “I am deeply flattered and truly appreciate the invitation, as everyone knows I love a man in uniform… but unfortunately I cannot accept, as I will be taping an episode of Hot In Cleveland. Love, Betty White." the actress said in a statement. I would say Lewis should move on to Natalie Portman, but it's kind of already been done.

Betty White's Off Her Rocker, Spray Painting Your SUV

You think Betty's adorable now; just wait until you're watching your car get slowing crushed under a steamroller in the parking lot of Applebee's. According to NBC, the new hidden-camera show Betty White's Off Their Rockers "follows a band of seven senior citizens who make it their mission to play pranks on unsuspecting younger people." Considering most people treat the elderly like idiots made out of glass, we look forward to White's memaws wreaking havoc in the calmest of doctor's waiting rooms, the most silent of DMVs.

There Will Be a Big 'Mary Tyler Moore' Reunion on 'Hot in Cleveland'

Deadline reports that an upcoming episode of TV Land's Hot in Cleveland will feature a big reunion of The Mary Tyler Moore Show's entire female cast. Valerie Harper, Cloris Leachman, and Mary Tyler Moore will be guest starring in the episode, appearing alongside Hot in Cleveland star Betty White and Georgia Engel, who has a recurring role on the show. The episode will follow White and Engel's characters putting their bowling team together, with Moore, Harper, and Leachman playing their former team members who had a falling out years ago. This is the first time the five actresses have appeared together onscreen since the Mary Tyler Moore finale [...]

Grammys for Betty White, Louis C.K., and The Book of Mormon

Louis C.K. won the Best Comedy Album Grammy for Hilarious, although he was too busy making gluten-free chicken fingers to care. (That's what "gf" stands for, right? That or "God Fuckingdamn, why am I heating up chicken fingers, I just won a Grammy. I should be in a technicolored limo somewhere between Adele and Kanye.") The Book of Mormon won best Musical Theater Album and Betty White's If You Ask Me (And Of Course You Won't) also beat Tina Fey's Bossypants for Best Spoken Word Album. No word on what foods they were cooking when they found out.

Betty White Asked To Marine Ball by Appropriately Reverent Sargent

Another day, another service person seducing a celebrity via YouTube. In this video, Marine Sergeant Ray Lewis asks Betty White to accompany him to the upcoming Marine Ball, where Lewis seems like he will make a charming, if extremely winded, dance partner. While the Marines who asked out Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis seemed like they were responding solely to an off-camera dare, at least Lewis takes the time to offer something that Betty might actually appreciate: a date who understands the power of a good costume change. Oorah!

Betty White to Saucily Flirt with James Lipton, Joel McHale

Betty White has been everywhere in the past year, from SNL to her show Hot in Cleavland to the stage at the Emmys. Is a Betty White backlash coming? Is a backlash even possible for an adorable and funny little old lady? I guess we'll find out, as Betty White mania is continuing this fall: she's doing Inside the Actors Studio and is guest starring on the season premiere of Community on September 23rd. Details are scant on both, but click through for a gallery of her on Community.

Pals and Confidants: The Golden Girls in (Mostly) Their Own Words

Writers write. Sometimes, actors also write. Sometimes, actors should just stick to acting. But some other times, when actors write, they allow us a look inside their personalities and processes which engenders an even better understanding of their acting work, a nice seasoning that enhances the flavor of the main dish. And at still other times, their silence speaks volumes.

People are pretty much always going to want to know more about their favorite actors, what they’re really like as people. When a group dynamic is introduced, public curiosity seems to heighten—people want to know not only about the actors’ individual lives, but if they get along as well [...]

The Grammys Are Coming, the Grammys Are Coming

The Grammy nominations are in, and there's a lotta comedy in there. First, the big one: Best Comedy Album. And the nominees are:

Alpocalypse – "Weird Al" Yankovic [Jive Records]

Finest Hour – Patton Oswalt [Comedy Central Records]

Hilarious – Louis C.K. [Comedy Central Records]

Kathy Griffin: 50 & Not Pregnant – Kathy Griffin [Universal Network Television]

Turtleneck & Chain – The Lonely Island [Universal Republic]

But comedians didn't restrict themselves to the comedy-specific categories alone. Both Tina Fey's Bossypants and Betty White's If You Ask Me (And Of Course You Won't) are nominated in the Best Spoken Word Album category. Seth MacFarlane is up for Best [...]

Frank Bruni Hangs Out With Betty White

Former NY Times restaurant critic Frank Bruni spent some time with Betty White at the Los Angeles Zoo, talking about her late career resurgence. Even at 89, she still does pretty much everything for herself: "When Putnam asked her to sign 2,500 books in advance of publication, it offered to rent her a hotel or office suite for the task and to provide assistants to unpack the books, turn each to the title page, refresh her pens and the like. That’s pro forma, but she wasn’t having any of it. The boxes were delivered to her house, where she has lived alone since 1981, when Allen Ludden, her husband [...]
