Maroon 5 guy Adam Levine is hosting SNL this week with musical guest Kendrick Lamar, and here's Levine with Bobby Moynihan cutting a bunch of silly fun promos that heavily reference Levine's show The Voice. I mean, I haven't seen The Voice but I know it has something to do with chairs turning and just connected the dots.

"My name is Broke Ankleman," Scott Aukerman said as he came to the lip of an unadorned stage.
Roughly 95% of his body was vintage Aukerman: sensible sweater, Oxford shirt, well-ironed khakis, comfortable sneakers, and lightly tousled hair with just a hint of product. Oh and Kevin James is there so he can relive his days as a high school(?) cheerleader, [...]

Remember this sketch from this weekend's SNL, in which one Janet Peckinpaugh seduces Tom Brady by describing herself as a "flesh cube"? So does the real life Janet Peckinpaugh, a former NBC news anchor and unsuccessful candidate for Congress. She's a pretty good sport about it, saying that she enjoyed the sketch once she saw it (but hasn't watched SNL live since "ten years ago when it stopped being funny." Oh, Janet). Fun game: try to watch this campaign ad and not imagine her saying "I'm a small businessperson, journalist, mom, and every bank teller in the world, just squished together":
