Watch "Def TED Talks," a Cut 'SNL' Sketch by Michael Che and Bryan Tucker

NBC uploaded a sketch this week called "Def TED Talks" that was cut from the latest episode of SNL hosted by Cameron Diaz, which was written by Michael Che and Bryan Tucker and features Diaz and a ton of cast members in a Def Jam/TED Talks mashup show hosted by Jay Pharoah as Russell Simmons. It's why occasionally during rehearsal, he will say, 'Don't you think we should do this line in a close-up?' And our Emmy-winning director, without hesitation, will say, 'Yep,' and note the change in his book."

Kenan Thompson to Star in Party Starters

Lorne Michaels is giving Kenan Thompson a movie, one called Party Starters. Nothing is known about the plot, other than the fact that it'll be "an original high-concept comedy." It'll be written by SNL writer Bryan Tucker, and there's no studio currently attached, so this one is clearly in the very, very early stages of development.

Watch a Nice Long Interview with Seth Meyers and the 'SNL' Writers

Last week, Reserve Channel released a never-before-seen hour-long interview with Louis C.K. at the Paley Center, and now here's one they just put out with Saturday Night Live writers Seth Meyers, John Mulaney, Chris Kelly, Marika Sawyer, Colin Jost, and Erik Kenward. It's an hour-plus chat that digs deep into SNL's writing process and gives you a rare look at the faces of the weirdos who write the show (except for Seth Meyers, his face is on the show all the time).
