Erinn Hayes to Play June Diane Raphael's Twin on NBC Pilot 'Mason Twins'

June Diane Raphael's twin sister has been cast for Mason Twins, the NBC pilot she co-created with Casey Wilson. THR reports that Erinn Hayes, who is a regular on Adult Swim's Children's Hospital, has been cast as Raphael's estranged twin sister Lizzie, "an intense, successful corporate climber who comes back home after she catches her fiancé cheating and loses her job — both in the same day." Hayes also had a role on NBC's now canceled Guys with Kids as well as in Sundance films this year by David Cross (Hits) and David Wain (They Came Together).

Here Are 11 Candidates for the New 'SNL' Cast Member Spot

We reported last week that SNL is currently holding auditions for at least one black female cast member, and so far eleven women have received callbacks for the spot. According to Deadline and the Daily News, the following list of ladies from both the New York and Los Angeles showcases have been asked to do in-studio tests at 30 Rock today: Bresha Webb (whose Instagram shot leaked the audition news last week), Tanisha Long (MTV's Girl Code), Misty Monroe (Groundlings), Gabrielle Dennis (BET's The Game), Erica Ash (Tracy Morgan's pilot Death Pact), Amber Ruffin (Boom Chicago), Leslie Jones (standup), [...]

No SNL Cast Members Leaving This Season, Says Lorne

It didn't seem possible, but the chances of you playing Miley Cyrus on SNL this year are even lower than your chances of playing Miley Cyrus every previous year, as everyone from SNL's current cast is staying on this season. According to TV Critic Roger Catlin, Lorne Michaels confirmed the news while at the Television Critics Association press tour yesterday, where he was hyping Up All Night and 30 Rock. "Nobody is leaving the cast of “SNL” next season, Lorne Michaels says. Still, he’ll audition at the end of August for possible additions," Catlin tweeted. So stop fine-tuning your Will Smith impression and move on. [...]

Rashida Jones to Star in Steve and Nancy Carell's TBS Pilot 'Tribeca'

Karen and Michael reunion alert! THR reports that Parks and Rec's Rashida Jones has been cast as the lead in Steve and Nancy Carell's TBS comedy pilot Tribeca. The pilot is "a single-camera satirical look at a police procedural anchored by Angie Tribeca (Jones), a 10-year veteran of the LAPD's elite RHCU — Really Heinous Crimes Unit." Jones's character is described as "a lone wolf who is capable, committed, strong and not thrilled when she's told she has to work with a partner. A cut-to-the-chase girl who speaks her mind, she treads where many fear to venture." Jones will begin filming the pilot in February [...]

The Office Looking to Hire Some New Dunder-Mifflin Employees

Some hints at what to expect on next season's Carell-free version of The Office, via a couple of casting notices: "One role is for a woman described as 'Scranton hot.' She’s hired as an assistant to the office manager… The second role is for a man who’s fresh on the job market who joins Dunder Mifflin’s accounting department. The guy used to work at a golf course, probably went a community college, and is just happy to have a real job in this tough market." Stanley's older daughter is also currently being cast and may become a series regular as well. How many regular characters would this bring the [...]

Rebel Wilson Cast in 'Night at the Museum 3' and 'He's F***ing Perfect'

It's only a couple weeks into 2014, but it's looking like a good year for Rebel Wilson, who already has two film roles in the works. According to Deadline, Wilson has been cast as a night guard in the upcoming Night at the Museum sequel by Thomas Lennon and Robert Ben Garant as well as the "sharp-tongued roommate" to Amanda Seyfried in He's F***ing Perfect, which was written by Adam McKay's former assistant Lauryn Kahn and produced by McKay and Ferrell's Gary Sanchez Productions. Wilson was also honored on Forbes' "30 Under 30" list last week, so hopefully by next month she'll land 10 more film [...]

Kristen Wiig And Elijah Wood To Star In Dark Comedy Revenge For Jolly!

Kristen Wiig and Elijah Wood will star in Revenge For Jolly!, leading a fantastic-sounding cast that also includes Adam Brody, Kevin Corrigan, Garret Dillahunt, Bobby Moynihan, and Gillian Jacobs. The black comedy follows a man seeking vengeance for the death of his dog "who was killed under confusing and suspicious circumstances." Which is great, because no one can look confused like Garret Dillahunt (as Burt on Raising Hope) and Elijah Wood (as…every role he's ever played). Sounds promising.
