Amazon Orders a Dramedy Series by Whit Stillman Starring Adam Brody and Chloë Sevigny

Amazon announced in a press release today that they've greenlit two new series, including a dramatic comedy written, directed, and produced by Whit Stillman. Titled The Cosmopolitans, the series follows "a group of young American expatriates in Paris searching for love and friendship in a foreign city." The pilot stars Adam Brody, Chloë Sevigny, Carrie MacLemore, Dree Hemingway, Freddy Åsblom, Shaun Evans, and Adriano Giannini and begins production in Paris this week. Chloe Sevigny is going stop by Portlandia to play Fred and Carrie's new roommate Alexandra. If you made a list of perfect Portlandia guest stars, Chlo-Sev had to be in the top seven, if not the top four.

Little Britain's Matt Lucas (aka the bald fellow in Bridesmaids) will be coming to Community to play Toby, a nerdish fellow who Abed meets at an Inspector Spacetime convention.
