Judd Apatow and Leslie Mann Make Their 'The View' Debuts

Judd Apatow and Leslie Mann sat down with the ladies of The View this morning to promote This Is 40. In part 2 (embedded below), Apatow talks about submitting jokes to Jay Leno when he was 19 and getting turned down. Apatow also mentioned on Twitter today that his first job was working for The View's Whoopi Goldberg in 1986 as an intern on the first Comic Relief special at age 16. Hey, this is the first video from The View we've ever posted on Splitsider! More to come, I'm sure!

Jerry Seinfeld to Take Over for Regis, at Least for a Couple of Days

Regis is leaving his post at Live with Regis and Kelly in a couple of weeks. Apparently, they'll be using guest hosts for a time after that. The first one? Jerry Seinfeld, who will be withstanding Kelly Ripa's perkiness from November 21st to the 23rd. And, based on my limited knowledge of The Marriage Ref, he'll be coldly judging her marriage in front of America as well. Should be a lot of fun!
