Fun Thing to Buy of the Day: 'Seven Psychopaths'

Last fall's crime-centric black comedy Seven Psychopaths came out this week on DVD and Blu Ray, so why not get both? (Or just one — your choice.) The latest film from writer-director Martin McDonagh (In Bruges) features Colin Farrell, Sam Rockwell, Woody Harrelson, and Christopher Walken, not to mention at least three other psychopaths because that was only four people and the title says there’s seven.

Fun Thing to Buy of the Day: 'Amy Schumer – Mostly Sex Stuff'

Amy Schumer’s one hour Comedy Central special Amy Schumer: Mostly Sex Stuff is available on DVD starting today. The show, recorded at the Historic Fillmore Theater in San Francisco, features the kind raunch and humor you may have come to know from watching Schumer roast Charlie Sheen and Roseanne. What an excellent way to catch up with Schumer’s stand up before her show Inside Amy Schumer debuts on Comedy Central at the end of April!

Fun Thing to Buy of the Day: 'Kyle Kinane – Whiskey Icarus'

Whiskey Icarus, Kyle Kinane’s first Comedy Central special, came out this week as a CD/DVD combo pack. In this follow up to Kinane’s celebrated 2010 debut Death of the Party, Kinane continues to tackle the important issues, such as what it’s like calling a cab to take him to Wendy’s and the underlying meaning and struggles of being delivered an unsliced pizza. Enjoy Kinane’s storytelling and self-deprecating take on everyday life, and then maybe treat yourself to an unsliced pizza of your very own.

Fun Thing to Buy of the Day: 'Chris Hardwick – Mandroid'

Nerdist founder/mogul Chris Hardwick's Comedy Central special Mandroid, which was recorded last February in New York and premiered last November, comes out on DVD and CD this week! Between his growing podcast network, book, Los Angeles theater space, and impending BBC America tv series, Hardwick has been altering the meaning of the word "nerd" (and in a good way!) while also being a funny person. Why not check out his comedy special?

Fun Thing to Buy of the Day: 'Misfits Season 2'

Season 2 of oddly dark British comedy Misfits is now on DVD. The show follows five young delinquents who get strange super powers while doing community service. It has four seasons so far ("series", if you will) which have until now been available on European DVDs as well as Hulu and other parts of the internet, but now you can own it on a tangible DVD which you can touch and feel with your hands and then play using your American DVD player.
