Great news for grandpas and robots and the people who love them: Robot & Frank is now on DVD! The film, which came out last summer, tells the story of what happens when, instead of taking your aging father to a nursing home, you give him a robot. In the case of this movie, your father will use the robot to get back into the jewel-thieving business. Frank Langella stars as Frank with Peter Sarsgaard as the robot (named Robot), James Marsden as the enabling son, and Liv Tyler as the daughter. Susan Sarandon rounds out the cast as a local librarian and love interest for Frank. [...]

Season 3 of Cougar Town is out on DVD this week, and if you've already taken the time to get over that off-putting name, you should probably go ahead and pick it up. The Courteney Cox and Busy Philipps-starring sitcom made its debut on TBS this January and if a show is good enough to get booted off of network TV only to have basic cable come to its rescue, it's probably good enough for your DVD shelf.

Parks and Recreation star Rashida Jones and her writing partner Will McCormack just signed a two-year development deal with Warner Bros. Television. As writers, the duo is best known for penning the screenplay to the movie Celeste & Jesse Forever, starring Jones and Andy Samberg, which premiered at Sundance last year and received generally positive reviews. In addition to the Warner Bros. deal, Jones and McCormack are writing the movie version of Jones's graphic novel miniseries Frenemy of the State, about a 20something socialite working undercover for the CIA. Under their new TV deal, Jones and McCormack will write and produce comedy and drama shows for both network [...]

FX's fantastic animated spy series Archer comes back for a much deserved fourth season this week, which means that the third season is finally out on DVD (and Blu-Ray, too)! Make sure you grab a copy so you don't have to miss any of the goings-on at ISIS headquarters, whether it's Archer doing spy stuff or just Pam being gross. Burt Reynolds makes a special guest appearance and really where else on TV do you expect to see an ocelot?

Comedy Central just released new albums from two very funny guys: Rob Delaney and T.J. Miller. Rob Delaney's Live at the Bowery Ballroom is the audio version of the hour special Delaney self-released earlier this year. T.J. Miller's Mash Up Audiofile is a companion album to his Comedy Central series Mash Up, featuring a 45 min. set from Miller with extra music/comedy mashups mixed in. Both are available for the low, low price of $9.99, which is pretty affordable.
