So, What Did You Think of the End of Last Night's Episode of 'The Office?'

Last night's episode of The Office took a surprising turn in the last few moments. For those who missed it, Jim and Pam had an emotional fight over the phone. After Pam hangs up, a new character, Brian the good-looking boom mic operator on the documentary (played by The Three Stooges' Chris Diamantopoulos) comes over and comforts her. It's the first we've seen of the documentary crew on the show during its nine-year run, but it definitely won't be the last. Matt Groening Ending 'Life in Hell' After 32 Years

So, apparently Groening is able to end very long running things he's involved with – who knew? The 1669th and last Life in Hell ran last Friday, June 15th and for the next four weeks, editors will run strips from the archives, but then on July 13. it's done. Groening commented, "I’ve had great fun, in a Sisyphean kind of way, but the time has come to let Binky and Sheba and Bongo and Akbar and Jeff take some time off.” Other than being at one time an incredibly popular comic strip, peaking at a 379-paper syndication, it is also directly responsible for The Simpsons. 'Weeds' Is Officially Entering Its Last Season

The upcoming eighth season of Weeds will be the show's last. Weeds really pioneered Showtime's definitive brand of protagonist driven pseudo-comedies. There had been some speculation of it ending previously but the move seemed especially likely when Justin Kirk signed on to star in the much sillier NBC sitcom Animal Hospital. Though, an animal hospital would be a perfect front for a weed dealer. Watch out for that that – old habits die hard.
