This week on The Jeff Rubin Jeff Rubin Show my guests are UTK and Shockwave of Freestyle Love Supreme, a group that improvises incredible music based on audience suggestions.

Freestyle Love Supreme Working on Adult Swim Pilot

The suggestion is: get that money. Adult Swim and Ars Nova announced yesterday that they are signed on to produce a Freestyle Love Supreme pilot. The single-camera show will follow the adventures of the freestyle hip-hop group, comprised of co-founder Lin-Manuel Miranda, lately of In The Heights fame, Utkarsh Ambudkar, Anthony Veneziale and Chris “Shockwave” Sullivan. Miranda will also write original music for the pilot with Grammy- and Tony-award-winning composer Bill Sherman, and in this and many other ways make the kids on Glee look like a bunch of lazy dickholes.
