Will Ferrell's Company Is Developing a Late Night Talk Show for USA

Will Ferrell and Adam McKay's production company Gary Sanchez is developing a new late night talk show for the USA Network, TV Guide reports, and the series sounds like it'll be pretty different from anything else on the late night dial. Created by Rob Cohen (Life and Times of Tim, Big Bang Theory)  and Owen Burke (who runs Gary Sanchez's TV division), the untitled project will be a morning show airing at 12:01 am, which is technically the morning. The show will be modeled after Live With Kelly and Michael and the fourth hour of Today hosted by Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb, and producers are [...]

Book of Mormon's Josh Gad To Pen Sitcom For NBC

In those few spare hours when he is not starring in Book of Mormon, Josh Gad and Will Farrell's Gary Sanchez Productions have teamed up as part of a development pact with NBC. Gad will write the high-concept comedy, reportedly about "a family on the road." Change that to a comedy about "a family on The Road," and I think you've really got something the American public will love and relate to. THINK ABOUT IT, PEOPLE.

Adam Pally and Gil Ozeri Are Making a Movie Together

Good buds and Happy Endings co-workers Adam Pally and Gil Ozeri have just sold a comedy movie to Disney. What the comedy will be about is still a mystery, but it'll be produced by Gary Sanchez’s Will Ferrell, Adam McKay, Chris Henchy and Kevin Messick. Not a bad lineup! Can't wait to hear more about this one as it develops.

Will Ferrell and Adam McKay's production company Gary Sanchez is producing a new film, He's F***ing Perfect, about "one woman who regularly Facebook-stalks the men her friends are dating, acting as a vetting device for them to weed out losers." The interesting part? The script was written on spec by McKay's assistant, Lauryn Kahn – and sold for a cool mill. (Million dollars. She didn't sell it for the deed to a flour mill, or something.)

Kahn's written, directed and acted in several shorts with Gary Sanchez, like this one and this one, both of which mine humor from the awkwardness of romantic encounters. It should [...]
