Will Ferrell is going dramatic again, this time in a movie about the iconic 1973 tennis match known as "The Battle of the Sexes" between Bobby Riggs and Billie Jean King. Variety reports that the movie is called Match Maker, and it's a drama written by Steve Conrad (The Pursuit of Happyness, The Secret Life of Walter Mitty).

The show will be modeled after Live With Kelly and Michael and the fourth hour of Today hosted by Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb, and producers are [...]
In those few spare hours when he is not starring in Book of Mormon, Josh Gad and Will Farrell's Gary Sanchez Productions have teamed up as part of a development pact with NBC. Gad will write the high-concept comedy, reportedly about "a family on the road." Change that to a comedy about "a family on The Road," and I think you've really got something the American public will love and relate to. THINK ABOUT IT, PEOPLE.
