Show Amy Schumer's Doggy Daycare Sketch to Your Most Insufferable Dog-Owning Friend

Here's a sketch from last night's Inside Amy Schumer in which the dog owners dropping their pets off at doggy daycare compete to see whose dog is the saddest. I've got a soft spot for the dead one, myself.

How 'Inside Amy Schumer' Fought — and Won — to Get "Pussy" on TV

Over the weekend, Amy Schumer and the writers/producers of Inside Amy Schumer sat down for a Paley Center panel all about the show, and it turns out we have them to thank for finally reaching true gender equality on Comedy Central. Prior to the second season of Schumer's show, the network bleeped the word "pussy" but often allowed the word "dick" to air uncensored — a policy that struck the writers and executive producer Dan Powell as unfair. From Vulture's recap:

"Dan decided that it wasn't fair that they bleep the word 'pussy,'" said Amy Schumer. "Because you are allowed to say the word 'dick' on Comedy Central," [...]

Amy Schumer's Body, Our Selves

It would be really hyperbolic to compare Amy Schumer to Jesus, but Amy Schumer is basically exactly like Jesus. Last night, for far from the first time, Amy Schumer sacrificed her body for all of us. Kind of. If you’re a woman. Stay with me.

Amy Schumer was barely in last night’s episode of Inside Amy Schumer, but we got as in-depth a consideration of the outside of Amy Schumer as we ever have. “12 Angry Men Inside Amy Schumer” was a remarkably faithful remake of the 1957 film 12 Angry Men, if 12 Angry Men had involved dildos, accusations of “muppet tits,” and revelations about Paul Giamatti’s boner. A [...]

Watch 'Inside Amy Schumer's Perfect 'Friday Night Lights' Parody

Season 3 of Inside Amy Schumer premiered on Comedy Central last night, and if the above Friday Night Lights parody is any indication, we can expect another fantastic season from Schumer and crew. In the sketch, guest star Josh Charles — who appeared last season in the Sorkin parody "The Foodroom" — joins Schumer for some spot-on small town football drama, and the rest is better seen than explained. Like "A Very Realistic Military Game," "Football Town Nights" is proof that, in the hands of talented writers and performers, serious issues like sexism and rape culture can turn into comedy gold.

Here's a Deleted Scene from 'Inside Amy Schumer' Season 1 Featuring Nikki Glaser

Inside Amy Schumer returns to Comedy Central later this month, but in the meantime, here's an exclusive deleted scene from the season 1 and 2 DVD set out today. From season 1, the clip features Nikki Glaser as an all-around wonderful person and Schumer as, well…a condescending jerk. The new season premieres on Tuesday, April 21st, and you can watch a teaser below:

Sketch Anatomy: Emily Altman Breaks Down 'Inside Amy Schumer's "Mom Computer Therapy"

Welcome to our column Sketch Anatomy, where we ask some of our favorite television writers to choose any sketch — one they personally wrote or one from history they find particularly hilarious, notable, or underappreciated — to learn from a writer's perspective what separates a successful sketch from the rest.

For this week's installment of Sketch Anatomy we spoke with Emily Altman, who teaches sketch writing at UCB in New York and has written for MTV's Hey Girl, Comedy Central's Inside Amy Schumer, and the upcoming Tina Fey-created NBC series The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. Altman chose to take us behind the scenes of season 2's Inside Amy [...]

Watch another clip from Schumer's last visit with Dave below, in which she follows through on his simple request: "Since we probably won't be on the show together again, do something now that you'll regret."
