Seth Rogen and Jason Mantzoukas Talked About Making a Dirty Randy and Rafi Movie Together

In Seth Rogen's two guest spots on FX's The League, he and actor Jason Mantzoukas have proven to be a great team. Rogen has exceled at playing despicable librarian/pornographer Dirty Randy, best friend to Mantzoukas's own dirtbag character Rafi. In an interview with Complex today, Rogen reveal that he and Mantzoukas have had non-serious talks about spinning their characters off into their own story. Here's a clip:

Interviewer: By the way, the Dirty Randy movie needs to happen. Rogen: It does! Mantzoukas and I were actually just talking about it. I saw him on Saturday night. We were like, "We should just do something that focuses on our two characters." [...]

Here's full video of the 200th show, released via Earwolf and the Video Podcast Network. Scott Aukerman's guests are Jason Mantzoukas and Andy Daly, who are probably the best guest duo in Comedy Bang Bang history. Here's to 200 more episodes!

Exciting Castings! Jonah Hill Joining 'Django Unchained' & Jason Mantzoukas Joining 'They Came Together'

The cast for David Wain and Michael Showalter's romantic comedy parody (or moc-rom-com) They Came Together is filling out pretty awesomely with Paul Rudd, Amy Poehler, and Max Greenfield already onboard. Now, The League's Jason Mantzoukas has been added to play Rudd's best friend, a perfect role for him to be the type of maniac we expect.

Also, it was announced that Jonah Hill will be joining the cast of the already in production Django Unchained. This is a bit odd considering its production is far enough along that the film already has a trailer (below). Previously, Hill had been eyed for a larger role [...]

Ben Kingsley, Jason Mantzoukas Up For Sacha Baron Cohen's The Dictator

Variety reports that Ben Kingsley has joined Sacha Baron Cohen's The Dictator, while The League's Jason Mantzoukas is in talks for Cohen's sidekick and likely to sign on. Set to be released May 11, 2012, Baron Cohen's political satire follows the adventures of a disposed dictator as he attempts to protect his country from democracy. The film is based on the novel Zabibah and the King, typically attributed to Saddam Hussein and containing slightly fewer talking-penis gags than the film version. Meanwhile, Anna Faris, Kristen Wiig and Gillian Jacos are up for the role of the dictator's love interest. Given the awkward sex scenes in [...]

Watch Jason Mantzoukas Teach Kids How to Make Coffee

Here's Jason Mantzoukas on the web series Boy's Minute for Amy Poehler's YouTube channel Smart Girls, teaching young boys how to make a French press cup of coffee. It features just as much swearing as a how-to video directed at kids should.

Jason Mantzoukas Is Coming to 'Modern Family'

How Did This Get Made? co-host and The League standout Jason Mantzoukas is heading to the most Emmy-stuffed sitcom on television, Modern Family, for a guest appearance on this season's 10th episode. He'll play "a jeans designer and Haley's (Sarah Hyland) co-worker/boyfriend." My, that's a somewhat creepy pairing, as her character is like 17. But I would like to see the jeans he designs, and the inevitable awkward interaction between he and Phil.

Despite Fancy Suit, Jason Mantzoukas Gets Stopped in Every Airport

Jason Mantzoukas knows what he and his beard looks like so he's never surprised when security stops him at the airport. At least, he's able to get a bunch of OTPHJs (over the pants hand jobs) out of it, right? If he was a terrorist, however, as he explains below, all Homeland Security would need to do is throw some eggs at him or make him eat gefilte fish and the terrorism would be over.

First Episode of Paul Scheer's New Podcast "How Did This Get Made?" Now Available

Paul Scheer has a new podcast called "How Did This Get Made?," exploring the world of god-awful movies with cohosts June Raphael and Jason Mantzoukas. The very first episode just went live, so check it out, podcast geeks.

'Enlightened' Season 2 Review: It's 'The Wire,' But Funnier

Something like a little less than one month ago, Patton Oswalt began to tweet his effusive praise of a show very few people had heard of. Like a virus, more and more people on Twitter began to speak the world of it, suddenly discovering that the half hour after Girls Sunday nights on HBO wasn't a test pattern, a talk show talking about Girls that just ends up being a conversation about Lena Dunham, or even a classic episode of Arli$$. Instead, they found a challenging, uncomfortable, intelligent, incredibly nuanced work that wasn't The Wire that is categorized as a "comedy," and featured a bunch of talented comedic actors. [...]

Rudd, Mantzoukas, McBrayer, Marino, and Kenan Play World's Greatest Pick-Up Game

How much fun is this picture? So much fun! It's from the set of They Came Together and is the absolute best. Whoever is in charge of costume design for the movie deserves 12 Oscars. Of course, Jack McBrayer would wear a full cardigan and oversized khakis; of course, Ken Marino would wear camo cargo shorts; of course, Jason Mantzoukas would have a knee brace. With these plus the photos of Paul Rudd and Amy Poehler running through leaves, They Came Together is the most photogenic film in recent history. Check out more images below, one of which might feature a prosthetic penis. Can you spot it? [...]

New Dictator Trailer Drops General Aladeen in the Real World

Steer clear of this Dictator trailer if you don't want to learn too much about the plot. For the rest of us, it's a pretty fun departure from the fast and furious previous trailers. And hey, there's John C. Reilly and Anna Faris and Jason Mantzoukas and – is that Jon Glaser ordering a coffee? Why yes, I think it is.
