Jeff Goldblum, Garry Shandling, and Judd Apatow Trade Therapist Stories

Here's a clip from Judd Apatow's second Late Late Show episode as guest host last week featuring guests Jeff Goldblum and Garry Shandling, where it's revealed that Shandling has had the same therapist as both of the other guys in the past — one who doubled as Goldblum's wedding officiant, and another who Shandling ditched without giving Apatow a heads up.

Watch Bill Murray and Wes Anderson Talk About How Hard It Was to Make 'The Life Aquatic'

The Criterion edition of The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou came out recently, and here's a new special feature from it, in which Bill Murray, Willem Dafoe, Jeff Goldblum, and writer/director Wes Anderson reminisce about the production of the movie and how difficult it was. Also, Goldblum talks a bunch about a scarf.

Seth Rogen, Jeff Goldblum, and Bob Odenkirk Are Coming to 'The League'

The League's fourth season wraps up next month, but according to The Hollywood Reporter, the FX sitcom has a whole slew of impressive guest stars lined up to round out the year. The show will be airing two new episodes a night on December 6th, 13th, and 20th, and two of the best guest stars from last season are set to return: Seth Rogen and Jeff Golblum as Rafi's friend Dirty Randy and Ruxin's sleazy father Rupert, respectively. Dirty Randy will be preparing for the world to end in a December 13th episode, while Rupert Ruxin will pop up on December 20th to "insert himself into a marital [...]

Bill Murray, Steve Martin, and Bugs Bunny: The Looney Tunes 50th Anniversary Special

In the 1970s and 1980s, Warner Bros. did not take great care with its animation legacy. The studio spit out a new, clumsily assembled “special” for every remotely notable occasion, with a lack of care and inventiveness that would have shamed Bob Hope. The programs were comprised of 75 percent recycled old cartoons, strung together with unfunny, ugly looking new animation that contained none of the craft and anarchic humor of the source material.

Not so with the The Looney Tunes 50th Anniversary Special. Produced in 1986 to mark the titular occasion (and loosely tied to a Museum of Modern Art retrospective), it too made heavy use of classic [...]

NTSF:SD:SUV:: Premieres Tonight, Gives You All The Jeff Goldblum You Can Handle

Adult Swim's NTSF:SD:SUV:: premieres Thursday, July 21 at 12:15am (confusing, since then it's actually tomorrow, yes? CLOCKS AM I RIGHT YOU GUYS?) following Children's Hospital. In an interview over at HuffPo, Paul Sheer discussed NTSF's upcoming guest stars, explaining "We got Jeff Golblum, and he was the best, so amazing. And then there's, like, the bad guy from Karate Kid! He plays the bad guy in our show. Peter Serafinowicz, who played Darth Maul [in Star Wars], he saw the original trailer and wanted to be involved. So we were like, "Why don't we just have him be the voice of the robot?" So he plays the [...]

Jeff Goldblum Stars in the Best Lightbulb Infomercial Ever Directed by Tim and Eric

It's not often that a mega corporation like GE can pull off an ad that's funnier than it is shameless, but this new spot directed by Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim has got to be the most worthwhile lightbulb commercial ever made. It stars Jeff Goldblum as super successful and well-lit celebrity Terry Quattro, and if the thought of Goldblum playing the piano from the comfort of his hot tub excites you, the above spot will not let you down.

Watch the Sarah Silverman Pilot That NBC Didn't Pick Up

In 2012, NBC passed on Sarah Silverman's pitot Susan 313, about a woman moving back into her old apartment following a breakup. This morning, Silverman's YouTube network Jash has posted the entire pilot, with a very sweet intro from Silverman. The pilot also stars Tig Notaro, Harris Wittels, June Diane Raphael, and guest star Jeff Goldblum as her ex.

The Lost Roles of 'Back to the Future'

One of the most popular movies ever made and one that seamlessly fused sci-fi and comedy, Back to the Future turned 25 just over two years ago. In honor of the film’s 27-year-and-3-month anniversary, we’re looking at some of the potential casting choices that almost happened back when Back to the Future came out two decades (plus seven years and 3 months) ago. Most movies and TV shows go through an exhaustive casting process before production begins, but Back to the Future is unique in that part of the movie was filmed with different actors in some of the main roles before the filmmakers decided it wasn’t working and [...]

Jeff Goldblum and Nick Kroll in Matching Ruxin Family Bathrobes

Take a gander at this photo of Jeff Goldblum proudly wearing the Ruxin family bathrobe to play Rodney's father Rupert on the Thanksgiving episode of The League. Here's hoping his vocabulary is as filthy as his son's, and that the two of them spend the entire episode in those bathrobes.

Jeff Goldblum, Biz Markie and The Roots Play "Just a Friend"

This is what Late Night with Jimmy Fallon is becoming known for: bits that, while they may not be laugh-out-loud funny or even include any jokes, are pretty much impossible to not smile at while watching. And is there anything wrong with that? Things like this and the History of Rap with Justin Timberlake are like distilled chunks of pure fun.

Wes Anderson Confirms His 'Grand Budapest Hotel' Cast: Murray, Schwartzman, Swinton, Goldblum, and More

Filmmaker Wes Anderson is getting ready to shoot his new movie, The Grand Budapest Hotel, and he revealed a full cast list to THR last week. Some of the names, like Bill Murray were announced previously while others are new. Not that it's a surprise to see Anderson and Murray working together, but Budapest does see the director branching out by hiring some new actors (and of course, some old favorites). Few details are known about the plot of this mysterious mysterious project, but here's Wes Anderson revealing the full cast list:

"Yes, it’s Grand Budapest Hotel. It’s a Euro movie. It’s a period picture. I [...]

Trade Roundup: Jeff Goldblum, Jesse Bradford, Roseanne Barr

Jeff Goldblum has joined the increasingly fantastic cast of Sarah Silverman's NBC pilot as Silverman's character's ex-boyfriend, whom she probably broke up with because she was sick of hearing his thoughts on how chaos theory means that all her plans will end in dinosaur attacks.

The Jimmy Fallon-produced NBC pilot DILFs by Charlie Grandy has secured a lead in Jesse Bradford, who'll play "a handsome recently divorced lawyer who is confident in everything except parenting his 9-month-old son." Don't you kind of wish this was a laugh-track, family-friendly mid-2000s CBS show so there would be a voice-over going, "Depositions he can handle. But diapers? No way!" [...]

Sarah Silverman and Jeff Goldblum to Guest Star on The League

The League is welcoming a couple of extended family members this holiday season: Sarah Silverman and Jeff Goldblum. Silverman will play Andre's (Paul Scheer) sister and Goldblum will play Ruxin's (Nick Kroll) father. They'll both be coming for Thanksgiving dinner, which will have the dudes' fantasy football league gathered around the festive table, as is tradition.
