Jimmy Kimmel's Aunt Chippy Gets Attacked by Bats in Austin

It's always entertaining whenever Jimmy Kimmel sends his Aunt Chippy out for her aunt-on-the-street segments, but her visit to Austin's Congress Avenue Bridge — which doubles as a bat conservation site — has got to be one of the hot-tempered Chippy's most hilarious moments. Cousin Sal was also on hand to push things to the limit with some fake bats at the perfect point.

Here's Seth Rogen and Jimmy Kimmel's 'True Detective' Parody

) From last night's Jimmy Kimmel Live, here's Kimmel and Seth Rogen doing the week's umpteenth True Detective parody, playing the stars of the the show's second season, which includes a lot more Cyndi Lauper songs than the first.

Jimmy Kimmel Explains His Sochi Wolf Prank

On last night's Jimmy Kimmel Live, Kimmel devoted almost 10 minutes to breaking down his whole Sochi wolf prank for the audience, including a ton of footage from all the news show suckers who ran the story as if it were real and used dumb Wolf of Wall Street references in their reports. He also caught up with his Sochi-based prank collaborator Kate Hansen and showed the wolf video in full. If the whole twerking fire thing didn't destroy all your trust for the authenticity of internet videos, then here's your case of fool-me-twice.

Matt Damon Got Shafted on Last Night's 'Jimmy Kimmel Live'

Last night, Monuments Men cast George Clooney, Cate Blanchett, John Goodman, Bob Balaban, and Bill Murray dropped by Kimmel to promote the film, and after keeping Matt Damon in his dressing room for a while, Kimmel finally allowed his nemesis to take part of the conversation, but that didn't stop Kimmel from giving Damon a hard time throughout. Click through for the rest of the segment, where Damon finally gets a chance to talk once the building's fire alarm goes off.

Here's Jimmy Kimmel's Amusingly Dysfunctional Family Cake Decorating Competition

Normally a friendly cake decorating competition could make for some great bonding memories between family members, but when Jimmy Kimmel took his mom, Aunt Chippy, Cousin Sal, and TV sidekick Guillermo to Duff's Cakemix to give it a shot, it turned out how a lot of family get-togethers do: Aunt Chippy gets angry, repeatedly screams "WHO TOOK MY BAWLS!?" and threatens everyone's good time.

This week, we're recommending the Twitter of Joelle Boucai. She's an LA-based writer for Jimmy Kimmel Live! and was nominated for Emmy and Writers Guild of America awards for her work on the late [...]

Jimmy Kimmel Grills Disgraced Toronto Mayor Rob Ford

What does it say about our society that we reward disgraced crack-smoking Canadian mayors by letting them have a huge chunk of interview time on our precious late night talk shows? Thankfully this was far from lost on Jimmy Kimmel last night, who grilled Rob Ford about everything from his awful reputation among his fellow Torontonians to allegations of his homophobia, his sweating problem, his carb-free diet, and just about every viral Rob Ford clip that's hit the internet in recent history. If you like Canadian accents, political train wrecks, or walking heart attacks, click through for the rest of Ford's Kimmel visit.

Jimmy Kimmel Orchestrated a Hoax Video of a Wolf in a US Olympian's Hotel in Sochi

Last week, US Olympic luger Kate Hansen posted a video of a wolf roaming her Sochi hotel that went viral, but it turns out the video is a hoax courtesy of Jimmy Kimmel. Inside Edition reports that Jimmy Kimmel Live helped Hansen to make the video, and that she'll be appearing on the show tonight to discuss the hoax with the late night host. Kimmel is no stranger to pranks like this, having made a viral video of a woman catching on fire while twerking last year, and he was very amused by Nathan Fielder's recent "Dumb Starbucks" stunt and had him on his show to [...]

Jay Leno's (second) final Tonight Show is set to air this Thursday, and Conan O'Brien and Jimmy Kimmel have lined up big guests to try to compete with his big finale. Leno's guests on his last episode will be Billy Crystal and Garth Brooks.

Kimmel is bringing Matt Damon in as his guest, which will be Damon's first time on Jimmy Kimmel Live since a well-received and much-watched stunt episode last January in which he took over Kimmel's show. Damon will be joined by his costars from the movie The Monuments Men: George Clooney, Bill Murray, Cate Blanchett, and Bob Balaban. This will mark the first Kimmel appearance [...]

Jimmy Kimmel is getting ready to host another week of his late night talk show from Austin, Texas. From March 10th to March 14th, Jimmy Kimmel Live will be broadcasting new episodes in conjunction with the annual music and film festival South by Southwest.

South by Southwest is set to begin announcing the lineup for the comedy portion of the festival next week, with shows, live podcasts, and panels planned. This is Jimmy Kimmel Live's first week-long residency in Austin. The show did a week of episodes from Brooklyn in the fall of 2012 and a week in Detroit in 2006 leading up to the Super Bowl.

Jimmy Kimmel Catches a Bunch of SXSW Music Fans in Their Web of Lies

Currently doing a week of shows at SXSW in Austin, Jimmy Kimmel resurrected his "Lie Witness News" segment to ask a bunch of music festival attendees for their opinions on bands that are so cool and obscure that they're actually not real bands at all. As if blatantly lying about knowing a musical act isn't bad enough, it's probably never a good idea to punctuate your responses with the phrase "to be perfectly honest."

Nathan Fielder Explains Dumb Starbucks on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live'

Yesterday, Jimmy Kimmel extended a last-minute invitation to Nathan Fielder to come on his show and explain the whole Dumb Starbucks thing. Aside from giving Kimmel some famous Dumb Starbucks coffee and pastries and explaining his motivations behind the project, Fielder mentioned yesterday's meeting with the Los Angeles Health Board, who informed him that the penalty for operating his permit-free coffee shop is potentially six months in jail. On the negative comments made by Starbucks to the press, Fielder had some harsh words: "I should say that if they do continue down this road, they risk losing me as a customer."

Alison Brie and Jimmy Kimmel Shine Light on Some Craigslist Missed Connections

Not too afraid to venture into one of the darkest and most depressing sections of Craiglist, Jimmy Kimmel and Community's Alison Brie pulled out their dramatic reading chairs last night and took turns reading some Missed Connections to the smooth sounds of a Kenny G wannabe. Hopefully this finally reunites the Eagle River glory hole couple.
