'Mad Men's John Slattery Discusses His 'Arrested Development' Guest Spot

It was revealed a few months ago that Mad Men star John Slattery would be guest starring in the upcoming fourth season of Arrested Development, and just today, Slattery gave an interview to The Huffington Post in which he discussed his experience filming the show (albeit without revealing who his character is or sharing any plot points). It's just nice to hear a talented guy gush about a show we all love. Here's the entire Arrested Development portion of the interview:

First Don Draper, now Roger Sterling. Apparently, Mad Men's John Slattery will be playing a candidate running for congress in this season’s seventh episode. Love that Slattery, so no complaints here.

The First New 'Arrested Development' Character Will Be Played By…

John Slattery! The Mad Men star will have a multiple episode arc on the new season of Arrested Development. There is no word yet on whom he'll be playing or if he'll be blind or have a law blog. The role is be described as "top-secret," which makes it even more exciting, as if it were a riddle. Maybe he'll play a top secret service agent. Or, better yet, he'll be the president of Pop Secret, the popular popcorn brand – he'll be the top of Pop Secret.
