FX Orders Series Starring Nat Faxon, Judy Greer, Brett Gelman, and Jenny Slate; Coming in July

Cable network FX announced they've picked up two new comedies today. The first, called Married, stars Nat Faxon (Ben and Kate) and Judy Greer (Arrested Development) as two best friends trying to save their marriage amidst arguing and sex troubles. Brett Gelman (Eagleheart) and Jenny Slate (Parks and Rec) play supporting roles.

FX's second new show, You're the Worst, was created by Weeds writer/producer Stephen Falk and follows two self-destructive people who fall in love and try to date. You're the Worst stars British actor Chris Geere, Aya Cash (The Wolf of Wall Street), Kether Donahue (Pitch Perfect), and Desmin Borges (The Good Wife).

FX has ordered 10 episodes [...]

'Arrested Development's Judy Greer Is Writing a Book

Actress Judy Greer, whom you know from Arrested Development, Archer, The Descendants, and a million other things, just signed a deal with publisher Doubleday to write her first book, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Entitled I Don't Know What You Know Me From: Confessions of a Co-Star, the book is a humorous collection of essays tracing Greer's life from her childhood in the Midwest to her career as a prominent supporting actress in TV and film. She can next be seen reprising her role of Kitty Sanchez in the new season of Arrested Development on Netflix and appearing in the remake of Carrie, and she continues to voice Cheryl [...]

Ken Marino and Judy Greer Could Be in TV Love Forever

Ken Marino and Judy Greer are your dream double date couple-friends too, right? They will be now that Marino's starring in Greer's ABC pilot American Judy. Seriously, though, these two would be a good couple. In real life. I'm not kidding.

So, Judy Greer's Mom Was Sort of a Badass

Has Judy Greer told the writers of Archer all this stuff about her mom that she just told Conan? If not, WHY NOT? They could write that character into the show no problem. Archer would totally hit on an ex-nun nurse with a darkly violent family history. Or a regular nurse, or, you know, a woman with any other profession.

Judy Greer Joins Two And A Half Men

Per THR, Judy Greer joins Two And A Half Men this coming season, in the reoccurring role of Bridget, soon-to-be-ex-wife of Ashton Kutcher's nerdy millionaire. Take a good look, Kutcher, because this is literally the last time you're going to see these.

Jenny Slate and Brett Gelman Join Nat Faxon and Judy Greer's FX Pilot

There's a pilot at FX that's lining up one hell of an impressive cast of comedy people. Deadline reports that Jenny Slate (SNL, Parks and Rec) and Brett Gelman (Go On, Eagleheart) have signed on to star in the untitled pilot, which already has Nat Faxon (Ben and Kate) and Judy Greer (Arrested Development) as its leads. The project was created by Andrew Gurland, who wrote The Last Exorcism and The Virginity Hit. The pilot follows a married couple (Faxon, Greer) who enter into an open relationship to save their marriage. Slate and Gelman are both playing friends to Faxon's character. It sounds like an interesting premise, but [...]

Great News: An 'Arrested Development' Fan Favorite Character Is Coming Back

Despite her constant proclamations otherwise, I guess it wasn't the last time we saw those, as Kitty and her boobs will be back flashing the Bluths, next season on Arrested Development. Judy Greer tweeted the below photo and everyone cheered and cheered. Ok, but after this time, we'll say goodbye for good. SPRING BREAK! [Via]

ABC Picks Up American Judy Starring Judy Greer as a Cosmopolitan Big-Shot

ABC has picked up American Judy, a pilot starring and executive produced by Judy Greer. She'll play "a cosmopolitan woman who upon getting married becomes a 'fish out of water' in the suburbs, where she has to juggle step-kids, her mother-in-law and her husband’s ex-wife (who also happens to be the town sheriff)." As long as this doesn't prevent her from putting in an appearance in the Arrested Development movie, I am all for it. Especially since the pilot was written by Deborah Kaplan and Harry Elfont, the writing team behind the criminally underrated Can't Hardly Wait. Hands in the air if you still sip a drink and [...]

Judy Greer Wants In On The Arrested Development Movie

We may not have to "say goodbye to these" for some time. Judy Greer said in this interview that she (along with everyone else in the known universe) hopes that Kitty Sanchez will be in the Arrested Development movie. She even suggests some plotlines: "Maybe there could be another Bluth? I don't know, maybe Kitty did get pregnant? That would be so awesome." Yeah. It would be.

Yea/Nay: Check Out a Preview of CBS's New Sitcom Mad Love

Here's a preview of CBS's new sitcom Mad Love, premiering on Valentines Day. On the one hand, Judy Greer! She is awesome! On the other hand: It's a CBS multicam sitcom starring Jason Biggs that seems to be built upon the premise that these people all have one friend each, so when two of them get together the other two will be forced to hang out with each other, which doesn't make a ton of sense to me. But hey, Judy Greer!

'Arrested Development' Episode Reviews: Indian Takers / The B. Team

In addition to our Arrested Development season 4 review, Splitsider has also been posting episode-by-episode recaps that will cover two episodes at a time. So if you haven't yet plowed through all 8 hours of the new season, and instead opted for a slower, more leisurely approach to screening the episodes, these weekly recaps should suit your old fashioned and increasingly obsolete lifestyle perfectly. These articles will be written from the perspective of someone watching the episodes sequentially, with no knowledge of future reveals or plot twists. That said, there may be some discussion of running gags or seemingly throwaway jokes, which, given the show's reputation, may very well [...]

Live a Little With Three Jeff, Who Lives at Home Clips

If you're not the type to shy away from advance clips of awesome-looking movies, check out these three clips from the Duplass brothers' Jeff, Who Lives at Home, featuring Ed Helms, Judy Greer and Jason Segel. In just under three minutes, the footage manages to be semi-sad and very funny and a little bit scary. If you are the type to shy away from advance clips of awesome-looking movies, don't watch this, but consider taking more risks in your life. What if you died tomorrow without having seen Jason Segel ride shotgun in a tiny Porsche?

The Jeff, Who Lives at Home Trailer: Sad in a Funny Way or Funny in a Sad Way?

Here's the trailer for Jeff, Who Lives at Home, written by the Duplass brothers and starring Jason Segel, Ed Helms and Judy Greer. Looks good! I'm gonna go with "sad in a funny way" but I reserve the right to change my mind if that Porsche scene ends with Judy Greer telling Ed Helms that he can "say goodbye to these!"

Oh God, Finally: Judy Greer Is Developing Her Own Sitcom for ABC

Judy Greer, who is absolutely hilarious in pretty much everything she's done, including a whole bunch of terrible things in which she is the only ray of light, is finally getting her own show. She's developing it for ABC, and she'll produce and star in it. It'll be "inspired by [her] life where she moved from Los Angeles for the man she loves and found herself raising stepchildren and making new friends in a small suburban town." I did not have any idea that she left LA for the suburbs to raise stepchildren with her man! But I am looking forward to her turning that into comedy on [...]
