Next week, the TV networks are set to unveil their new fall lineups, officially announcing which shows are coming back and which new shows will get to see the light of day. Networks always develop a ton of pilots, only choosing a few to go to series, and Deadline reports that execs at all the networks are "very happy" with their comedy pilots this time around. With shows from Rebel Wilson, Andy Samberg, and John Mulaney in the mix, there are a lot of high-profile comedy pilots this season, and we whittled them down to nine shows that we hope make it through the pilot season gauntlet. And just [...]

June Diane Raphael, star of Adult Swim's NTSF:SD:SUV and Yahoo's Burning Love, has just been cast in a new ABC pilot, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The single-camera show is Pulling, based on the British series of the same name about a trio of dysfunctional women in their 30s. Raphael will play Donna, who got a great job at a publishing company as the result of a computer error and who is bored with her fiance. Mandy Moore also stars as Donna's best friend Louise. The third lead has not been cast, but I'm assuming they'll do that before they start filming the pilot because otherwise that would [...]
Here's the brand new trailer for the second season of Yahoo's web series Burning Love. Created by Erica Oyama, directed by Ken Marino, and produced by Ben Stiller's company Red Hour, Burning Love is a Bachelor parody that will focus on June Diane Raphael's (Adult Swim's NTSF:SD:SUV, How Did This Get Made?) character Julie looking for love this time around. The show has an insanely cool lineup of bachelors this year, including Michael Cera, Adam Scott, Paul Scheer, Rob Huebel, Jerry O'Connell, Joe Lo Truglio, Martin Starr, Colin Hanks, Ryan Hansen, Nick Kroll, Kumail Nanjiani, Nick Thune, Brandon Johnson, Adam Brody, and if it's anything like last season, a big [...]

The Housewives is a sitcom about three female friends who are trying to reconcile their feminist beliefs with being a housewife. The show was created by June Diane Rapheal and Casey Wilson and was given a put pilot commitment by ABC. June is in talks to play one of the housewives. It's being described as "multicam with a twist," so kind of like how How I Met Your Mother is shot or, maybe, this just means there will always be a tornado in every scene. I hope it's the latter.

Sarah Silverman's NBC pilot pulled off a one-two punch of great casting today with Harris Wittels (Parks and Rec writer and Humblebrag creator) and June Diane Raphael (How Did This Get Made? podcaster and Paul Scheer marryer). Both of them will play neighbors of Silverman's character, Susan: Wittels is a "short, hipster, endearing" fan of Susan's, and Raphael is her ex-best friend, abandoned when Susan "disappeared into a relationship ten years ago." Sounds promising!
