FXX Renews 'It's Always Sunny' for Two Seasons

Cable network FXX is keeping It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia around for a while. FXX renewed Always Sunny for two seasons, which will keep the show on the air through 2017, THR reports. The order is for an 11th and 12th season of the show, which will be 10 episodes each. The show had already been renewed for its upcoming 10th season, which premieres in January. The renewal will make Always Sunny the longest-running live-action sitcom in cable history, and it will tie My Three Sons to become the second longest-running live-action sitcom in all of television.

Anna Maria Horsford, who "famously" played the security guard on The Wayans Brothers, is also joining The New Girl as Winston's tough mom.

- Matt Walsh is going to play a tornado chaser in Steve Quale's still untitled tornado chasing film.

Paul F. Tompkins and 'Always Sunny's Kaitlin Olson Have a Nice, Long Chat

Paul F. Tompkins's interview series Speakeasy is back, and his guest this time is It's Always Sunny's Kaitlin Olson. As usual with Speakeasy, it's a delightful longform chat, covering Olson getting kicked out of The Groundlings, why she prefers sketch to improv, and the eventual end of Always Sunny.

Will Sweet Dee Have A Second Pregnancy?

Always Sunny's Kaitlin Olson and Rob McElhenney are expecting their second child, and considering that the first one became a plotline on the show (complete with a guest-star-heavy witch hunt for the father of the baby), it's worth wondering whether Sweet Dee will be expecting again as well. Or maybe instead, in the wake of Fat Mac, we'll get to meet Fat Dee? Imagine the two of those actors coming home from the set, still in their fat suits, to feed a tiny Fat Baby. I can't even think about it, it's too beautiful.

Cataloging the Worst, Most Amoral Things the 'Always Sunny' Gang Has Ever Done

With Dennis, Mac, Charlie, Dee, and that Frank free to continue gallivanting around Philadelphia on the shiny brand new network FXX starting tonight, it's time to look back at the absolute worst things The Gang at It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia has ever done. While it's been fun and humorous to enjoy their antics over the years, sometimes you have to wonder if it was all worth it. (It probably was.)
