Watch the Latest 'Greatest Event In Television History'

The third installment of Adam Scott's The Greatest Event in Television History ran last night on Adult Swim – a shot-by-shot remake of the opening credits of 80's not-quite-classic sitcom Too Close for Comfort. As we already knew, it starred Scott, Catherine O’Hara, Jon Glaser, Chelsea Peretti, and Kathryn Hahn; it also featured Jason Mantzoukas, Seth Morris, Paul Scheer, and Jon Hamm. Be sure to check out Vulture's side-by-side look at the original and remakes of the opening of Too Close for Comfort.

Scott has already announced that there will only be one more special of The Greatest Event – the next will air on January 23, 2014. He told Splitsider [...]

Watch Seth Rogen, Bob Odenkirk, Adam Scott, and More Audition for 'The Office' in 2003

Here's old audition footage of a bunch of famous actors who tried out for parts on The Office back in the fall of 2003 but were passed over. It's a special feature off the recently-released DVD set for the ninth and final season of the show. It's pretty cool to see Bob Odenkirk (Michael), Seth Rogen (Dwight), Adam Scott (Jim), Kathryn Hahn (Pam), John Cho (Jim), and Eric Stonestreet (Kevin) play these well-known characters and to think about how differently their careers and the show would have been had they gotten these parts.

Check out a list of other people who auditioned for The Office, including Paul Giamatti, [...]

Parks and Rec Recap: "Campaign Shake-Up"

It’s been a rollercoaster of a city council campaign so far for Leslie Knope, and this week, the ups and downs continue. While her incompetent opponent Bobby Newport has made things easy for Leslie by going into hiding, his costly new campaign manager Jennifer Barkley (played by guest star Kathryn Hahn) is making things hard for her. Newport fleeing the country also made things easy on busy movie star Paul Rudd, who plays the character, allowing him to sit this episode out. He’ll be back later on this season, relax.

Leslie and campaign manager Ben have made great strides to recover from the mini-scandal the two were involved in, [...]

Free Agents Recap: "Pilot"

First things first: the protagonists of Free Agents, Alex (Hank Azaria) and Helen (Kathryn Hahn), two PR agents newly single after long-term relationships, are good 'n' charming. After being the funniest thing about How to Lose a Guy in Ten Days and Our Idiot Brother (and Anchorman, as the secretary who reveals that Ron Burgundy will read “a-ny-thin-guh” off a cue card), it’s about time Hahn gets to star in something. And obviously, I could listen to Hank Azaria name made-up sex positions for a few hours at least.

Jon Glaser and Catherine O’Hara Join the Next 'Greatest Event in Television History'

The third installment of Adam Scott's The Greatest Event in Television History will debut on Nov. 7 on Adult Swim, and while the title of the new episode hasn't officially been released, Entertainment Weekly has some intriguing tidbits. We now know Catherine O’Hara and Jon Glaser will join Scott in his latest shot-by-shot remake of a classic TV show's opening sequence. Chelsea Peretti and Kathryn Hahn were previously announced. Adult Swim also released this family portrait from the show, which gives some clues for classic TV fans, and seems to confirm Vulture's guess from this summer.

Scott's Greatest Events have become instant classics, but he's already announced that there will only be [...]

Kathryn Hahn and Allison Janney Join Jason Bateman's Spelling Bee Comedy

Jason Bateman is about to start directing his first movie, and he just added a ton of people to the cast. We reported previously that Bateman will direct and star in Bad Words, in which he'll play an adult high school drop-out entering a children's spelling bee. According to Deadline, Allison Janney, Kathryn Hahn, Phillip Baker Hall, Ben Falcone (Melissa McCarthy's real-life husband), and kid actor Rohan Chandz have all joined the cast. Janney and Hall will portray angry leaders of the spelling bee group and Chandz will play a a nerdy spelling bee competitor who Bateman befriends and probably teaches to believe in himself or something [...]

Kathryn Hahn Has So Much To Say About Joe Lo Truglio's Penis

There are some amazing shots of this particular penis. A really amazing one through car windows, squatting down, just the nuts, it’s pretty amazing. Sometimes the head just kind of enters the frame. It is definitely a character in the film.

And that's just the tip (heh) of Kathryn Hahn's opinions about Joe Lo Truglio's penis in Wanderlust. Fine, okay, that's pretty much all she says about it. Comedy cliques and why she always ends up working with Paul Rudd are interesting topics too, I GUESS. Just not quite as interesting as Joe Lo T's tinkle-tubule.

Kathryn Hahn Is Starring in Adam Scott's Next 'Greatest Event in Television History'

The ensemble cast for Adam Scott's next Greatest Event in Television History special on Adult Swim is slowly being announced. Vulture reports that Kathryn Hahn, who acted alongside Scott in Parks and Rec, will be part of the cast, which already includes Scott and Chelsea Peretti. The new Greatest Event special, the series' third, will air on Adult Swim at midnight on November 7th. Scott calls this one, "by far the stupidest one we've done yet. Almost embarrassingly stupid. Hopefully in a funny way." This will be the second-to-last Greatest Event in Television History special, with the ultimate one expected to air early next year.

Each Greatest [...]

Jake Lacy Is Joining 'The Office' and Other People Were Cast in Other Roles

- After being replaced by T.J. Miller on The Goodwin Games, Jake Lacy has been added as a series regular to The Office. He is the second young new hire, after Clark Duke, that seems like a good fit for the rumored reboot.

- Aasif Mandvi is going to co-star in the Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson comedy The Internship (aka "Workplace Crashers") as the man in charge of the internship that Vaughn and Wilson are a part of.

- In other Daily Show correspondent castings, Dan Bakkedahl will play a rival DEA agent in the Sandra Bullock-Melissa McCarthy buddy copy film, The Heat.

Kathryn Hahn Is Parks & Rec's Anti-Leslie Knope

Get your "Complacency in Government? Knope!" buttons ready. Kathryn Hahn, star of the quickly-canceled Free Agents, will be playing Leslie Knope's political rival in a multiple-episode arc on Parks and Rec. I hope she is ready to be blinded by optimism and can-do spirit. And maybe literally blinded, because Leslie is a very serious competitor.

Update: According to Michael Schur, Hahn will be on the show, but won't be playing Leslie's rival.

Plus, Louis C.K. is also coming back as Leslie's police officer boyfriend! Maybe he will arrest her for blinding Kathryn Hahn.
