Amazon Buys Two New Original Comedies

Online retailer Amazon is gearing up to launch its first batch of original shows, and it looks like they'll be making a big push for comedy. Amazon is preparing to greenlight its first pilot for a single-camera sitcom called Browsers from longtime Daily Show writer/producer David Javerbaum, Deadline reports. Browsers will follow four interns at a HuffPo-esque website with musical elements woven throughout. The pilot is expected to film in January. Sussman, well, Sussman should be best known for playing the powerful Steve in Wet Hot American Summer.
