Highlights from Lena Dunham's Keynote Address at SXSW

Lena Dunham keynoted the South by Southwest Film Conference on Monday to a house packed with attendees, many of whom waited in line for over an hour to gain entry. Dunham took the stage joking she'd decided to write a speech in lieu of doing an interview in order to make up for her previous under-preparedness as a student. For much of her 40-minute speech, Dunham ran through her bio — information which her fans mostly already know — giving detailed anecdotes funny enough to compensate for the redundancy. Mitch Hurwitz Talked Alternate Casting and 'Arrested Development' Plans

Arrested Development creator Mitch Hurwitz was the keynote speaker at the New York Television Festival last night, and as he tends to do, he dropped some tantalizing hints and secrets about the past and future of the show. As he's mentioned before, the tentative plan is to next make an Arrested Development movie with the entire cast together, probably for Netflix, and then move on to making the show's fifth season.

Patton Oswalt Keynotes Just For Laughs

Patton Oswalt was asked to give the keynote at this year's Just For Laughs festival. His plan of attack was to read two letters, one to comedians and one to the gatekeepers. The one to comedians focused on the present day's paradigm shift as it compares to the other great comedy paradigm shift of his career:
