Lady Gaga Offered $3.9 Mil to Do Comedy for the First Time in 'Zoolander 2'

It's been 11 years since the release of Zoolander, and Ben Stiller and Company are still pressing ahead with plans to make a sequel. The latest news is that pop star Lady Gaga has been offered £3 million (or $3.9 million in American) to make her comedic debut as Derek Zoolander's love interest, according to the Telegraph. The sequel, to be written and directed by Stiller's Tropic Thunder cohort Justin Theroux, is targeted for a 2014 release. Lady Gaga would play a lady woman who gets caught in a love triangle between Derek Zoolander and Owen Wilson's Hansel, and Stiller said last year that Will Ferrell is [...]

This Is The Third Best Idea They've Ever Had: Timberlake, Samberg and Gaga Praise The "3-Way (The Golden Rule)"

A worthy successor to "Dick In A Box" and "Motherlover," on Saturday we found out Justin Timberlake and Andy Samberg's greasy lotharios are down to knock construction boots and white socks with Lady Gaga in SNL's "3-Way: The Golden Rule." And if somebody's hands or wiener happen to stray too far, the social etiquette of the ménage à trois allows for more than little leeway/copious amounts of helicopter dick. Everything about this video was spot on: Gaga's nails and bikes shorts, the dancers on the bus, how it picked up five minutes after "Motherlover" left off and guest starred a deeply satisfied Patricia Clarkson. So as of today, [...]

Justin Timberlake and Lady Gaga Heading Up SNL's Season Finale

SNL is wrapping up the current season on May 21st with a couple of heavy hitters: Justin Timberlake and Lady Gaga. This will come two weeks after Tina Fey hosts on May 7th. The host for the episode on the 14th has yet to be announced; it was originally supposed to be Steve Carell, but he had to cancel due to a movie's shooting schedule. But I hear his replacement is pretty great, too.

New Weird Al Video Polkas Through the Past

Take a ride down memory lane in Weird Al's brightly-painted, frantically bouncing jalopy. The video for "Polka Face," his latest polka medley of pop hits from the last few years, features robot pole-dancer Britney Spears and Lady Antebellum drowning some bowling alley mice in her tears. So, pretty normal for Weird Al.

Weird Al Proves Victorious In All Things

Huzzah! Looks like I won't have to burn my Lady Gaga CDs (just kidding. Do they even still make CDs?) because Weird Al's Lady Gaga parody was approved by Mother Monster herself. As Al explained on his blog yesterday, "Apparently the fact that she didn’t approve it was news to Lady Gaga herself! Gaga’s manager has now admitted that he never forwarded my parody to Gaga – she had no idea at all." Cut to Gaga's now-ex-manager sprinting through the forest with a thirty-minute head start.

Lady Gaga To Guest Star On The Simpsons

EW reports the Lady Gaga guests on The Simpsons this coming season; recorded yesterday, the singer's cameo will air next spring. Reportedly Gaga stops by to (unsuccessfully) try and dance Lisa's self-esteem out of the gutter, in addition to conducting a train powered by "a giant flame-shooting bustier," throwing a flash mob and, of course, kissing Marge. Everyone on the planet knows the only way to soothe Lisa's sadness is to glue hundreds of unwashed seashells to her parents' car, Gaga, though I will accept hundreds of unwashed seashells glued to a really fabulous hat, since that's where 80% of the jokes are going to go anyway.

Lady Gaga Kills Off Weird Al's For-Charity Parody of "Born This Way"

For someone who dresses so ridiculously, Lady Gaga sure takes herself seriously. So seriously, in fact, that she refused to give her blessing to Weird Al's new single and parody of "Born This Way," "Perform This Way." Which is her right, sure, but she also insisted that he record the song before she made her decision — reading the lyrics wasn't enough.

So after spending his own money to record the song — the sales of which were to be given to the Human Rights Campaign — she said no without any explanation. Al recounts the whole ordeal on his blog:
