
This Is 40, Judd Apatow's fourth film as a director, hits theaters today, and it's receiving mixed reaction from critics and proving less popular with reviewers than anything he's directed so far. On Rotten Tomatoes, the movie scored a 52%, compared to 68, 90, and 86 for Funny People, Knocked Up, and The 40 Year-Old Virgin, respectively. Like Judd Apatow tweeting while shitting is the Watergate of people doing something while shitting. To take the shenanigan level up another notch, this twee purse thief will be a prostitute. Basically, it will be Jess's chance to meet her polar opposite. The LA Times has some new info and the first image from Judd Apatow's next movie, This is 40. The movie will feature Paul Rudd and Leslie Mann revisiting their characters from Knocked Up.
