James Franco, Martin Freeman, and Amy Adams are 'SNL's December Hosts

Saturday Night Live just announced its hosts for December. The Wrap reports that James Franco will host for the third time on the December 6th episode to promote his new movie with Seth Rogen The Interview with musical guest Nicki Minaj, while Martin Freeman will make his hosting debut on December 13th with musical guest Charli XCX. SNL's Christmas episode on December 20th will be hosted by Amy Adams with musical guest One Direction. Adams last hosted back in 2008.

'The Colbert Report' Will Celebrate "Hobbit Week" Next Week

Noted Tolkien nerd Stephen Colbert is celebrating the release of Peter Jackson's new Hobbit movie with a theme week on The Colbert Report next Monday through Thursday, according to Entertainment Weekly. The Report's "Hobbit Week" will feature a different guest from the movies each night: Sir Ian McKellen (Dec. 3), Martin Freeman (Dec. 4), Andy Serkis (Dec. 5), and Peter Jackson (Dec. 6), all in advance of the movie's Dec. 14th release. Here's the First 7 Minutes of FX's 'Fargo'

Fargo, FX's new anthology series loosely based on the 1996 Coen Brothers crime-comedy-drama of the same name, premieres on April 15th, and the network released the first seven minutes of the first episode online. Billy Bob Thornton and Martin Freeman pop up in this excerpt from the show, but there's no signs of comedy people like Bob Odenkirk, Key & Peele, Always Sunny's Glenn Howerton, who also have roles in the show. We're just gonna have to wait a couple weeks to see them in Fargo and to find out what the deal with that washing machine is.

FX's new comedy-drama Fargo, which is loosely based on the Coen Brothers' movie of the same name, premieres April 15th, and here's the first trailer for it. The show stars Billy Bob Thornton, Martin Freeman, Colin Hanks, Kate Walsh, and Bob Odenkirk, whom you get a quick glimpse of in the trailer as a police officer who's too polite to vomit up his wife's cooking.
