Here's What Max Landis's Hypothetical Version of 'Ghostbusters III' Would Be

Earlier this week, entertainment blogger Nikki Finke published a story about Max Landis being hired to write the new draft of Ghostbusters III, which Landis quickly debunked on Twitter, denying any involvement. Max Landis, whose father John Landis often collaborated with fellow '80s comedy kingpins/Ghostbusters people Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis, and Ivan Reitman, proceeded to lay out his ideas on Twitter for what he would hypothetically do with Ghostbusters on Twitter and it actually sounds kind of cool, unlike most Ghostbusters III concepts. Jesse Eisenberg and Kristen Stewart are Starring in an Action-Comedy from the Director of 'Project X'

Jesse Eisenberg and Kristen Stewart are set to star in American Ultra, an action comedy from Chronicle writer Max Landis and Project X director Nima Nourizadeh. According to The Hollywood Reporterthe movie follows an "an unmotivated stoner named Mike, who lives with his girlfriend […] in a small, sleepy town. One night, their lives take an unexpected turn when Mike's past comes back to haunt him, and he becomes the target of a government operation set to wipe him out." Stewart and Eisenberg previously appeared together in 2009 comedy-drama Adventureland. 

Max Landis Is Making His Directorial Debut with the Sex Comedy 'Me Him Her'

Max Landis, who wrote the found footage sci-fi hit Chronicle, is set to direct his first movie, Me Him Her, a comedy about three friends in Los Angeles going through a quarter-life crisis, with at least one of them struggling with their sexual identity. Variety reports that the film will start production next spring or summer and has described it as "Reality Bites on acid." Landis, the son of famed director John Landis (Animal House, Blues Brothers, Trading Places), says Me Him Her is "totally insane! The devil is in it."
