Watch Rob Corddry Star in a Guided by Voices Music Video

Here's a new music video from Guided by Voices for the song "Planet Score" that features a ton of familiar comedy faces. Released via Funny Or Die and directed by Mike Postalakis, the video features some familiar comedy faces: Rob Corddry, his brother Nate Corddry, and Corddry's Mom costar Matt Jones, who you probably know best from playing Badger on Breaking Bad.

The Vine 5 Film Festival: The Internship

Vine is a toy from Twitter that challenges users to make the most profound work ever committed to video in exactly six seconds. Or at the very least, challenges comedians to bring a little more laughter into this world. Every Tuesday we showcase five of the funniest short shorts of the past week.

Your RSS feed might be difficult and not show the videos, but trust us – they are there.

Vine came around to Androids last Monday, resulting in some awkward first posts. Dan Harmon is probably going to be too busy to learn how to make more visually stunning effects than in his initial effort:

Talking to Nate Corddry About ‘Mom’, ‘The Heat’, And Why Boston Stereotypes Will Always Be Funny

Nate Corddry is no stranger to the fickle whims of television. He’s starred on three tragically cancelled series, including the much-hyped Aaron Sorkin joint Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, the David E. Kelley legal dramedy Harry’s Law, and the recent animated adaptation of an ‘80s sci-fi classic, Tron: Uprising. But despite the short-lived nature of the shows that have featured him, Corddry himself has left a lasting impression as a sharp, versatile actor. He’s ably balanced both the dramatic – roles as a creepy, clingy restaurant manager on United States of Tara and a soldier in the HBO war epic The Pacific – and the hilarious – a [...]

Kumail Nanjiani, Nate Corddry, Parker Posey, and More Cast in Pilots

Pilot season is in full swing, with networks ordering up new shows right and left. Here's a rundown of actors who have been cast in comedies over the past few days:

  • Nate Corddry (Studio 60, Daily Show), Matt Jones ("Badger" from Breaking Bad), and Spencer Daniels (Star Trek)  have been cast in CBS's Mom, a comedy from unfunny incarnate Chuck Lorre about a newly sober single mom (Anna Faris). Allison Janney was cast previously, meaning Mom will feature a better cast than any show Chuck Lorre's ever been within a hundred feet of.
  • Parker Posey will play the female lead in an untitled NBC comedy produced by [...]

Watch Paul F. Tompkins and Nate Corddry Have a Chat

Here's the latest episode of Paul F. Tompkins's web series Speakeasy, in which he has a long conversation with Nate Corddry, star of The Daily Show, Harry's Law, and most recently, The Heat. It's an interesting, in-depth interview about Corddry's career that's most interesting when he's talking about his high-pressure audition for The Daily Show after his brother Rob was already a cast member (9:35 mark) and his experiences on Aaron Sorkin's Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip and how that show failed (12:41 mark).
