Parks and Recreation star Nick Offerman has signed a deal to write a second book, EW reports. Called Great Americans, the book will "highlight approximately twenty-five figures from U.S. history that Offerman considers his personal pantheon of 'Great Americans" — which range from George Washington to Willie Nelson – told from his unique, always humorous perspective."
Offerman's first book, Paddle Your Own Canoe, a humorous memoir full of advice, came out in October of last year and was a bestseller.
Mustachioed Parks and Recreation star Nick Offerman is about to become an author. The actor/carpenter has written his first book, called Paddle Your Own Canoe: One Man's Principles for Delicious Living. It's set for an October 1st release, but you can pre-order now. Paddle Your Own Canoe is a humorous memoir made up of anecdotes, rants, and life advice from Offerman, and it's probably the closest thing you'll ever get to reading a book written by Ron Swanson because he's a fictional character and fictional characters don't write books.
