Listen to the Final 'Comedy Bang! Bang!' with Harris Wittels

Scott Aukerman originally hadn't planned to release the latest episode of Comedy Bang! Bang! featuring Adam Scott, Chelsea Peretti, and Harris Wittels, but with the encouragement of his friends and those who knew Wittels before his tragic death last week, Aukerman ultimately decided to share the final Wittels CBB today. Aukerman's intro to the episode is an especially tough listen; here's an excerpt from it:

So a few days ago I didn't know if I wanted to even put out a show this week or put out a show next week, or, you know, even why continue? Why keep doing this stupid show? But in the conversation [...]

Paul F. Tompkins, King of Podcasts

Paul F. Tompkins is a very busy man; just look at how many appearances on Earwolf podcasts alone he has under his belt. So it was only a matter of time before he started his own show on the network. Spontaneanation with Paul F. Tompkins, which launched two weeks ago, is his follow up to fan favorite, The Pod F.Tompkast. Unlike his previous venture, Spontaneanation requires very little preparation and features a fully improvised story, a free form conversation and focuses on just being in the moment.

I recently had the opportunity to talk with Tompkins about what it’s like being the most ubiquitous guest in podcasting and [...]

Watching 'Grown Ups 2' Every Week for a Year and Living to Talk About It

Allow me to introduce you to The Worst Idea of All Time, a podcast with a remarkably simple and twisted premise: two comedians watch and review Grown Ups 2 every week for a year. Yes, you read that correctly. Helmed by two standups from New Zealand, Guy Montgomery and Tim Batt, the podcast has become something of a sleeper hit, with over six hundred thousand total downloads, and an average of ten to twenty thousand downloads per episode. A shout-out from Paul Scheer brought the duo much of their early American notoriety, and since then the fan base has grown, largely it seems, from word of mouth. Ridiculous as the premise might [...]
