Listen to the Premiere Episode of 'The Daily Show Podcast without Jon Stewart'

The Daily Show now has its very own podcast. Comedy Central unveiled the premiere episode of The Daily Show Podcast without Jon Stewart today, which will take Daily Show fans behind the scenes of the show with writers, producers, and correspondents and, as the title suggests, be a Jon Stewart-free podcast. Current head writer Elliott Kalan and correspondent Jessica Williams host the first episode with producer Sara Taksler, writer Jo Miller, and veteran Daily Show writer J.R. Havlan as guests. New episodes will premiere every week with rotating hosts; head over to The Daily Show's website to catch the first episode.

Joe Mande Will Start a Podcast If People Give Him a Million Dollars Via Kickstarter

Standup and Parks and Rec writer Joe Mande has turned to Kickstarter for his latest internet experiment. He's posted a Kickstarter campaign called The Million Dollar Podcast, promising that if people pay him a million dollars, he will start hosting a weekly podcast where he interviews "comedians and musicians and shit like that."

The bare-bones Kickstarter page is not up and running yet, currently under review by the crowdfunding site before it becomes operational. Mande has promised that for backers who donate $1,000, he'll "mention your name on the podcast or something who cares." Mande, who tried to buy a million Twitter followers last year and [...]

Here's the latest video the comedy group/podcast Superego made for Nerdist, in which Tom Lennon voices a Christian man who runs a kids' museum called "God's Crazy Monsters," showing off frightening creatures created by God like dinosaurs, Rachel Maddow, and Toothful Jesus.

This Year's Los Angeles Podcast Festival Will Feature a Ton of Your Favorite Comedy Podcasts

The third annual Los Angeles Podcast Festival is set to take place next month from September 26-28, and this week the lineup was officially released. Among the many comedy podcasts slated to record live shows at the event are WTF, Superego, Doug Loves Movies, Never Not Funny, The X-Files Files, Mohr Stories, The Todd Glass Show, improv4humans, and Who Charted?, with plenty more shows yet to be announced.

'Superego' Season 4 Is Coming; Paul F. Tompkins to Join Group Full-Time

The popular improvised sketch podcast Superego hasn't released a new episode since the spring of 2013, but the group behind the show is finally bringing the show back. A fourth season of Superego is set to debut September 1st, with frequent guest Paul F. Tompkins joining the group full-time as a regular member alongside Matt Gourley, Jeremy Carter, and Mark McConville. Superego Season 4 will also feature Neko Case as a guest star, plus returning guests Andy Daly, Tom Lennon, Colin Hanks, and more.
