A Look at the Debut Episode of 'Late Night with Seth Meyers'

After a long wait, Late Night with Seth Meyers finally premiered after Fallon's Tonight Show last night with guests Amy Poehler and Vice President Joe Biden and musical guest A Great Big World. While there was definitely a bit of first-episode nerves apparent throughout the episode, Meyers brought the charm he's known for having on Weekend Update, and Poehler broke the ice as his very first guest interview. Above, watch Meyers deliver his first Late Night monologue, then click through to check out some other highlights from the episode, including Poehler and Biden's interviews as well as the very Fallon-esque cold open.

'Brooklyn Nine-Nine' Bested 'Dads' In the Ratings Last Night

Fox debuted it's new comedy block last night, and Andy Samberg's new cop sitcom Brooklyn Nine-Nine did pretty well, pulling in six million viewers. It also was the most watched show by men under 50 on broadcast television last night. It followed the controversially racist Dads, which pulled in about 5.5 million, as did the season premiere of New Girl.

But it was New Girl that did best in the key demographic of 18- to 49-year-olds, scoring a 2.9 rating in comparison to Brooklyn's 2.5 and Dads' 2.1. Meanwhile, the premiere of The Mindy Project, which had made available online and on VOD early, pulled in 1.9 in the [...]

'Parks and Rec' Sets Itself Up For a Busy Season

For years, Parks and Recreation has lived on the brink of cancellation and suffered from unpredictable episode orders and schedules. As creator Mike Schur has discussed, the show’s fifth season was initially only given 13 episodes, while the rest were ordered later on. That meant that midway through last year’s Parks, a finale of sorts occurred with the wedding of Leslie (Amy Poehler) and Ben (Adam Scott).

The following eight episodes then had to start a new stretch of stories and wrap up with another finale in May. In those four hours of TV, a flurry of new plotlines appeared: Leslie was suddenly [...]

Watch the Season Premiere of 'Wilfred' Right this Second

Wilfred's second season is set to premiere on June 28 on FX but you can watch the first episode on the Internet right now. (Hell, you might already be watching it.) Robin Williams makes an appearance as a psychiatrist, because it's his favorite profession to act as other than a jumanji. (He played a jumanji in Jumanji, right?) The first couple minutes focuses on whether Wilfred does or does not appear as a human in a dog costume. It's a real Wilfred-they-won't-they story.
