TV Land Orders Kirstie Alley and Michael Richards's New Sitcom

Continuing its practice of cramming retro sitcom stars into new shows, TV Land has ordered a new series called Kirstie's New Show that will star Kirstie Alley, Rhea Perlman, and Michael Richards. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the cable network has ordered a 12-episode first season that will debut in the fall. The sitcom, which was ordered to pilot last fall, stars Alley as Broadway star Madison Banks as her long lost son (Eric Petersen) comes back into her life. You'll Get All The Rhea Perlman You Need In Kirstie Alley's The Manzanis

I'm ready for Rhea Perlman to be the Danny DeVito of Kirstie Alley's new show The Manzanis. Clearly I'm projecting my own personal wants and desires onto the new ABC multi-cam sitcom, which features the Cheers co-stars as a loud, proud Italian woman and her mother-in-law respectively, but this could go Real Housewives of New Jersey so satisfyingly fast. Imagine Caroline Manzo emerging sweaty and naked from inside a leather couch, is what I'm asking of you.
