'Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt' Premieres on Netflix March 6th

At TCA today, Netflix chief Ted Sarandos announced that Tina Fey's new comedy Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt starring Ellie Kemper is set to premiere on March 6th. Fey, Kemper, and producer Robert Carlock also spoke to critics at TCA today, and even though Fey refused to reveal some of the show's guest stars ("March 6th. You can see them all the same night"), in a new EW interview she all but confirmed that she'll appear in the show: "Uhhh, maaaaybe! In a panel moderated by New Yorker television critic Emily Nussbaum, we learned all about the show's origins, stories that never got to be told, how Tina felt about Studio 60, and who at TGS Jenna Maroney almost had an affair with. (Be warned, there are a couple tiny spoilers for the 30 Rock series finale in here.)

Robert Carlock Discusses Landing the '30 Rock' Plane

30 Rock was still 30 Rock last year but just with a little bit more heart. Heading into its final season, showrunner Robert Carlock told Entertainment Weekly he's excited to reach some sort of fulfilling conclusion for Liz.

We had started a few years ago this idea that Liz, in her total quest for happiness — whether that’s possible or not, which I don’t think we’ve answered yet — wanted to have a family. Back in the day, we weren’t sure we’d be around next week. It was fun to know that, ‘Okay, now if we’re heading toward some sort of endgame for the characters or for the series, [...]
