Jay Chandrasekhar to Write, Direct, and Star in Amazon Pilot 'Really'

Amazon has added another comedy pilot to its lineup. Deadline reports that Broken Lizard's Jay Chandrasekhar will write, direct, and star in the new single-cam comedy Really opposite Sarah Chalke. Rounding out the cast is Selma Blair, Luka Jones (Up All Night), Travis Schuldt (It's Always Sunny), Lindsay Sloane (Weeds, Kroll Show), Hayes Macarthur (Go On), and Collette Wolfe (Young Adult). Really follows a group of thirtysomething friends in Chicago led by Chandrasekhar as a "happily, messily married neurologist Jed" and Chalke as "lawyer/mom Lori." Here's a preview of CBS's new sitcom Mad Love, premiering on Valentines Day. On the one hand, Judy Greer! She is awesome! On the other hand: It's a CBS multicam sitcom starring Jason Biggs that seems to be built upon the premise that these people all have one friend each, so when two of them get together the other two will be forced to hang out with each other, which doesn't make a ton of sense to me. But hey, Judy Greer!
