brightcove.createExperiences();The Birthday Boys returns for a second season on October 17th, and IFC released a sneak peak today featuring Dana Carvey as fancy clothing designer Laurence Eastman in a super hip commercial that warns against wearing new Eastman gear when you're goofing around in the grass. The new season of The Birthday Boys is set to include a ton of great guest stars, including Scott Aukerman, Jack Black, Ellie Kemper, Chris Elliott, Lennon Parham, Tim and Eric, Riki Lindhome and Kate Micucci, and of course Bob Odenkirk.

USA's 'Benched' Starring Eliza Coupe to Premiere on October 28th

Early this year it was announced that USA had ordered 12 episodes of a new half-hour comedy starring Happy Endings' Eliza Coupe called Benched, and the network just announced the official premiere date. Deadline reports that the show — which was co-created by Michaela Watkins, Damon Jones, and Party Down's John Enbom — will premiere on USA Tuesday, October 28th at 10:30pm. The series also stars Jay Harrington, Oscar Nunez, Maria Bamford, Jolene Purdy, and Carter MacIntyre and centers on Coupe as "a high-powered corporate attorney who has a very public nervous breakdown after getting passed up for an expected promotion, and finds herself working in the [...]
