There's going to be a US remake of The Inbetweeners Movie, the 2011 UK film based on the popular E4 comedy series about a quartet of horny British teenagers straddling the line between coolness and nerdiness. 'The Inbetweeners Movie' Sequel Is Definitely Happening

There's going to be another The Inbetweeners movie. Iain Morris and Damon Beesley, creators of the beloved UK TV series about the trials and tribulations of four averagely-popular teenagers, released a statement confirming the sequel today. The Inbetweeners ran on E4 for three seasons from 2008 to 2010 and spawned The Inbetweeners Movie, which became a smash hit with the biggest opening of any UK comedy ever when it was released in 2011.

MTV Cancels 'The Inbetweeners'

MTV has canceled its new sitcom The Inbetweeners, an adaptation of the hit UK show of the same name, after one season, Deadline reported yesterday. Inbetweeners starred Bubba Lewis, Zack Pearlman, Joey Pollari, and Mark L. Young as a quartet of guys stuck in the gray area in the high school social strata in between being cool and nerdy.
