Comedy Central Renews 'Nathan for You' for a Second Season

Comedy Central did the right thing today and picked up its critically-acclaimed series Nathan for You for a second season. Billed as a "docu-reality" series that follows comedian Nathan Fielder as he uses his business degree to advise struggling companies, Nathan for You is easily TV's best new comedy, and it should get even better in its second season. Created by Fielder and Michael Koman (Eagleheart, Conan),  Nathan For You wrapped its eight-episode first season last week. The network says Season 2 will debut in 2014 and consist of 10 episodes this time around. Hopefully, Comedy Central will allow Fielder to strap himself to the front of a plane to [...]

New Zealand's One News reports that the victim's family (unsurprisingly) was "disgusted" by the segment, which concludes with Jeselnik putting the victim's photo onscreen and calling him a "son of a bitch." Being deliberately shocking and offensive and [...]

Anthony Jeselnik and Pete Holmes Talk to Each Other About Comedy Stuff for 'Vulture'

"On Fallon, we would have these pitch meetings. And every single time I would pitch, it would be the biggest disaster of all time. Some of the writers would laugh, but Jimmy would always stare at me as if I was trying to make fun of him, which I wasn’t at all. The producer said to me a couple times, 'Listen, we all know you’re funny, but these bits you’re pitching, they’d be great for The Anthony Jeselnik Show, but they’re not right for The Jimmy Fallon Show.' And after a couple times hearing that, I was like, 'God, that Anthony Jeselnik Show sounds really funny.'"
