"We both came from the office-comedy world. You took the office-comedy world and said, 'I’m going to be a boy-crazy, high-achieving goofball, and the show is going to be like a second Office but the subject material is going to be much more about romantic life.' And then [with Parks and Recreation], I took the office-comedy world and just went into things that I was interested in, like government, public service, and high-minded achievements … we took the same setting and put our own spin on it."

Fox announced its midseason schedule yesterday, and Glee will soon be moving to Tuesdays at 8pm, the slot currently occupied by freshman comedies Dads and Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Brooklyn will be moved to The Mindy Project's slot at 9:30 after New Girl, sending Mindy on a two-month break and Dads will be taken off the schedule indefinitely despite the show having recently received a full season order. Mindy will air new episodes through January 28th and will return after Brooklyn finishes its season on April 1st. Brooklyn will take over its new timeslot on February 4th, and Dads' last schedule episode is set for February 11th.

His first appearance is in the second season's third episode, which airs October 1st.
Since attempts to bring Happy Endings to a new network didn't work out, the show's stars have rapidly been finding work elsewhere. [...]

Barinholtz’s character was a highlight in the comedy's freshman year, which should come as little surprise to anyone who knows him for his work as a former cast member on MADtv, or more recently as Eastbound & Down’s Ivan Drago-inspired Russian [...]
