Eric Wareheim's biggest dream ever was to be on The Tonight Show, so when he and Tim Heidecker were chosen to be guests on last night's show, Heidecker turned it into an elaborate surprise for his best friend complete with a blindfold, noise-canceling headphones, and misleading music from The Roots.
Comedy duo Tim and Eric are going on tour this September, and they're bringing Dr. Steve Brule (John C. Reilly) with them. Tickets for the five-week tour, which covers a ton of major Canadian and US cities, will be made available on Friday at 10am local time via axs.com. Tim and Eric are currently working on their new show, Tim and Eric's Bedtime Stories, a Twilight Zone-esque anthology series, Bedtime Stories that has been given a 10-episode order and is set to premiere later this year. Check It Out! with Dr. Steve Brule wrapped up its third season this spring.

Here's an animated music video for the song "Jambalaya" by Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim, which also doubles as a recipe for jambalaya. Tim & Eric recorded the song in character as the '70s "swamp rock" band "Pusswhip Banggang," which they introduced years ago on Tim & Eric Awesome Show, Great Job! (video below). The video coincides with Tim & Eric releasing "Jambalaya" as a 12-inch record via Drag City today.
Tim Heidecker and Gregg Turkington are getting ready to cover the 2014 Oscars for Adult Swim.
