Rashida Jones and Writing Partner Will McCormack Sign a Two-Year TV Deal

Parks and Recreation star Rashida Jones and her writing partner Will McCormack just signed a two-year development deal with Warner Bros. Television. As writers, the duo is best known for penning the screenplay to the movie Celeste & Jesse Forever, starring Jones and Andy Samberg, which premiered at Sundance last year and received generally positive reviews. In addition to the Warner Bros. deal, Jones and McCormack are writing the movie version of Jones's graphic novel miniseries Frenemy of the State, about a 20something socialite working undercover for the CIA.
