Here's SNL's Taran Killam telling the story of his worst-ever live comedy experience for Worst I Ever Bombed, a new web series from Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. Don't expect to see a Taran Killam stand-up tour anytime soon.
Jimmy Fallon just started a new web series called Worst I Ever Bombed, in which a comedian shares their worst-ever live performance experience. First up is freshman SNL castmember Cecily Strong, with a tale from her Second City days about an audience member named Slugger Bologna that she could also tell in a hypothetical Jimmy Fallon web series called "Worst Fake Name I've Ever Heard."
Here's the latest installment in Late Night with Jimmy Fallon's web series "Worst I Ever Bombed," in which comedians retell their shittiest onstage experiences. Previous installments have featured Mike Birbiglia and SNL's Cecily Strong, but the storyteller this time around is Judd Apatow, who jokes that he somehow manages to bomb while telling his bombing story.
Here's the second episode of "Worst I Ever Bombed," a new web series from Late Night with Jimmy Fallon in which a different comedian shares their most awful comedy performance story each episode. SNL's Cecily Strong did the first installment, and this time around, the guest is stand-up Mike Birbiglia, who shares the story of a gig at a charity golf tournament gone wrong. Birbiglia also told this story on his 2007 album My Secret Public Journal Live, but it feels much more intense with him whispering it straight into a camera in a hushed voice in a hallway.
