This week animated Disney feature Wreck-it Ralph comes out on DVD and Blu-Ray. The movie boasts a huge cast of comedians, including John C. Reilly, Jane Lynch, Jack McBrayer, Sarah Silverman, Alan Tudyk, Mindy Kaling, and more, all as various video game characters living inside their respective arcade games. Everything's okay until one day bad guy Ralph (voiced by Reilly) decides to leave his game in search of something more. John C. Reilly and Jack McBrayer Are Video Game Foes in the 'Wreck-It Ralph' Trailer

Disney's upcoming animated movie Wreck-It Ralph is basically Toy Story with video games. Which isn't a bad thing! As a fan of the Toy Story movies, video games, and the voice cast of this movie — John C. Reilly, Jack McBrayer, Sarah Silverman, and Jane Lynch — it actually looks pretty damned promising. Especially if there are way more recognizable game characters featured in the game as hinted at in the trailer. I am an easy man to please: give me Bowser and Zangief in therapy together and I don't really care what happens in the rest of the movie. I'm there.

Jack McBrayer Gets Beat Up and Jane Lynch Wears a Smart Blazer to Promote 'Wreck-It Ralph'

Someone should write a pitch for a film in which Jack McBrayer is trained to be a professional wrestler by Jane Lynch. Too bad Wreck-It Ralph is animated. And boy is it animated. Disney released the concept art (see it below) for the films two leads and it shows how, in Ralph's case, the representation of a character could evolve wildly. It was probably for the best. Otherwise, you'd have half the audience wondering how Ralph goes to the bathroom with spikes for hands.

The 'Wreck-It Ralph' Cast Continues to be Fun

We already knew that John C. Reilly, Jack McBrayer, Sarah Silverman, and Jane Lynch were lending their voices to Disney's video games movie Wreck-it Ralph but now more names are coming out. Mindy Kaling will be voicing Taffyta Muttonfudge (haha, of course), Sarah Silverman's nemsis in Sugar Rush, the racing game they're in. Steve the Pirate aka Alan Tudyk will play King Candy, one of the rulers in Sugar Rush. Horatio Sanz and Adam Corolla (whose character probably thinks both Sarah and Mindy's characters are bad drivers) will play Sugar Rush security guards.
