Recently I was in a bookstore, where I overheard one employee making fun of another’s embarrassing taste in comedy. “So you have like, a dumb sense of humor,” she said, “This is really revelatory.” The TV show she thought was so laughably bad was Broad City. Her coworker weakly tried to defend what some might call The Best Most Important Comedy I Can Currently Name Particularly When, Like Now, I Am Dumbed with Rage by How Smug This Store Clerk Was, but the girl stopped him. “I watched the pilot?” As if she had minored in Bevers Studies at NYU. “So, I got it.”

The good news isn't yet over for Community fans. Now that the show's sixth season has been secured thanks to Yahoo, THR spoke with Sony Pictures Television exec Zach Van Amburg about the Hulu and Yahoo talks, Dan Harmon's role in the process ("front and center"), and most importantly, the show's future following the upcoming season. Here's what Van Amburg had to say when pressed about a possible seventh season:

We're still in the very early days of web TV, with Amazon, Yahoo!, Netflix, and Hulu having emerged as the first generation of high-quality streaming content creators. Screen" in 2011 and soon got into the comedy game with Ken Marino and Erica Oyama's Emmy-nominated Burning Love, Seth Morris's First Dates with Toby Harris, and the sketch show Sketchy amongst their first batch of shows.
