Watch the Series Premiere of HBO's Duplass Brothers Comedy 'Togetherness' on YouTube

HBO's new Duplass brothers comedy Togetherness premiered last night, and the pay network has also made the first episode available in full on YouTube. The show follows "four adults nearing 40, living under the same roof and struggling to keep their relationships and their dreams alive" and stars Mark Duplass, Melanie Lynskey, Amanda Peet, and Steve Zissis with guest appearances set from Peter Gallagher and Mary Steenburgen. If you're a fan of watching old clips of standups honing their craft live onstage, the new Just For Laughs YouTube channel is for you. The Montreal comedy festival recently teamed up with Maker Studios to launch the channel this afternoon, which so far features standup clips from Bill Hicks, Louis C.K., Tracy Morgan, Bill Burr, Chris Rock, Jon Stewart, Dave Chappelle, and Mitch Hedberg. According to Variety, a total of "over 500 hours of JFL content" will be released in increments of three each week and eventually include content from current festivals. Jimmy Kimmel Reveals a Video of a Twerking Girl Catching on Fire Was a Hoax, and He Was Behind It

Last night on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Kimmel revealed that his show was responsible for creating an internet video known as "Worst Twerk Fail EVER - Girl Catches Fire!," in which a woman is dancing for the camera but falls on a bunch of candles and lights her pants on fire. The video racked up over 9.5 million hits in just a week, but Kimmel and his crew made it with stuntwoman Daphne Avalon. This isn't the first time a comedian has done something like this. YouTube Is Launching a Comedy Week with Seth Rogen, Ed Helms, and More

YouTube announced today that they'll be holding their first ever "comedy week" next month. The event will feature performers Vince Vaughn, Seth Rogen, Sarah Silverman, Michael Cera, Ed Helms, Garfunkel & Oates, and Norm Macdonald in a week of stand-up, sketches, music, and live performances. It'll take place the week of May 19th to the 25th, kicking off that Sunday with a live variety show running 90-120 minutes. Silverman and Cera are currently working to create content for the new YouTube comedy channel JASH, while Norm Macdonald hosts a show on YouTube's Video Podcast Network. A Russian Broadcasting Company Got Dan Klein's 'This Is Comedy' Special Removed from YouTube

Earlier this month, comedian Dan Klein released a fantastic collection of standup tropes and clichés in the form of an hourlong special titled This Is Comedy. Last week, however, Klein discovered that YouTube had removed his video due to a copyright claim by a Moscow-based broadcasting network named "OJSC TNT," which according to Businessweek focuses on "serial, reality-show, and talk-show programs for men and women." Klein's special clearly didn't include any footage from another source, let alone a Russian television show, but removing videos due to bizarre copyright claims is nothing new for YouTube. They're not in this promo, but Vince Vaughn, Seth Rogen, Michael Cera, Ed Helms, Garfunkel & Oates, and Norm Macdonald will also be participating in the event, a week of stand-up, sketches, music, and live performances, to finally bring some comedy to the serious, serious video site.

Here Are Reggie Watts's First Two JASH Videos

JASH, a new YouTube channel featuring original content from Sarah Silverman, Michael Cera, Tim & Eric, and Reggie Watts launched earlier this month, and today, Reggie Watts debuted his first two videos for the channel. The first (above) is a music video for a song called "If You're Fucking, You're Fucking." The second (below) is the first episode of a web series called One Take, in which Watts makes a song based on four different YouTube comments each time. Get ready to have a regular dosage of soundboard musical comedy in your life.

CollegeHumor Launches a New YouTube Channel for Experimental Comedy

CollegeHumor just launched a brand new YouTube channel devoted to the weird and experimental. Called CH2, the channel will feature live-action sketches, animations, and music videos with a more experimental bent and exist as CollegeHumor's outlet for weirder comedy from both CollegeHumor regulars as well as new and up-and-coming talent. Jimmy Kimmel's YouTube Hoax Tricked Jimmy Fallon

Last night, Jimmy Kimmel revealed that a viral video in which a woman accidentally lighting herself on fire while twerking was a hoax created by his show, but perhaps the funniest thing about the whole situation is that Kimmel's future late night rival Jimmy Fallon played the video during his monologue Friday night. In the above clip, start at 2:35 to see Fallon playing the fake Kimmel video and giggling and joking about it with his audience.
